A Port in the Storm!
There was snow storm happening the night I stayed here. There were a few people checking in at the same time I did and all three of us were welcomed and treated like royalty. Never have I been treated so well and it really turned out to be that port in a storm. The next day it all ended with a great breakfast, sunny day and myself being well rested here.
Lives up to name “Quality”
We looked at the reviews before we booked a room and it seemed odd that there was a lot of good reviews but it was only rated two stars. Decided to take her chances. From the moment we hit the lobby everything was fantastic. The lobby was very nicely decorated with Christmas ornaments, framed artwork with nice sayings and the front desk person was very nice. We got checked rate in and even got a free upgrade just because I was a first responder and she noticed. As we continued our journey to our room things were still great. The always were clean and everything was well-maintained and again there were framed sayings and pictures on the walls that were very nice. We got to our room and it was spotlessly clean, lots of pillows, spacious, nicely decorated. there was one full Bible and two New Testament in the nightstand beside the bed. Great to stay in a hotel that hasn’t caved into political correctness and won’t place a Bible in a nightstand because they think they might offend somebody. We should never be offended by the God who created everything! Went down to the exercise room and then the swimming pool which had a waterslide and a hot tub. Not large but certainly nice. The next morning we went to the breakfast nook which had eggs, hashbrowns and sausage along with all the regular breakfast nook items. This hotel was one of the best if not the best one I’ve ever stayed in. Five stars👍
Horribly rude receptionist- did not even end up staying
When I walked in the receptionist was on the phone, and made no effort to acknowledge that I was there. After a few minutes my husband and son came in with our bags and I had still not received so much as a smile, an "I'll be right with you", or any form of recognition that I was standing there waiting. My son being 3 years old was extremely excited to see a Christmas tree with a toy train and sat down to look at it. The receptionist put down the phone only to yell at my son not to touch the toy train. She then returned to her phone call and made no effort to help us. She then started yelling and shaking our finger at us because my son touched the train, threatening us that it was very expensive. For one, it was simply a plastic toy. Hotels are supposed to be family friendly and a toy should not be placed on the floor if it is "so expensive" just to taunt the small children. After receiving this hostile service, we obviously did not want to stay at the hotel, as it was not an inviting environment by any means. We easily found another hotel close by that welcomed us with smiling faces, and even gave my son a candy cane while we were being checked in. I would love to forget our horrible and yet extremely short experience at the Quality Inn, but now I see that they have charged my credit card even though we did not stay. We will be contacting the manager during business hours and hopefully the receptionist's extremely childish and unprofessional actions will not go overlooked.
Fantastic
This place is under rated! We stayed here for 2 nights and the rooms were Comfy ,the staff were friendly, the hot tub fantastic. They even have evening snacks in the lobby! I definitely recommended this place!
