There is nothing luxury about the Luxury Inn

OK I'm not sure where to start here so I guess I'll start at the beginning. I needed a cheap place to stay in Lincoln overnight going from Tennessee to Idaho. I arrived shortly after midnight, and was told that the pet rooms were upstairs. No big deal. The guy at the front desk was really nice and friendly and helpful and I have nothing bad to say about the customer service. The housekeeping is an entirely different story. I'm not sure they have housekeepers here actually. They probably do, but they do a terrible job. I walked into the room and my 1st thought was I just need a place to sleep. The curtains are cawkeyed and off the hooks, there are hangers left from a child, like the last tenants just left them behind and the housekeepers didn't see them. Underneath the bed is filthy, also whoever's missing a sock it's still under the bed with your McD's wrappers.
Microwave is dirty, fridge's dirty, juice puddle in it or something. The freezer needs defrosted terribly, so much so, that they just took off the freezer door flap, it was sitting on top of the fridge. The sheets smell like cigarettes smoke and there is a cigarette burned in one of them. It's questionable that they were even changed, 1 of the pillows looks like it has a booger and some blood on it.
Now let's go into the bathroom and take a look. The toilet flushes itself/ runs every half hour or so, the fan doesn't even work. Every mirror in this place is absolutely filthy. The shower curtain is dirty. I needed a shower after being on the road all day so I put a towel in the bottom of the tub to step on because I was too afraid to climb in with my bare feet. The towel rack is dirty, filthy. And looks like it has not been wiped off in years. The tiles on the floor are loose. There's no tissue but that's OK it doesn't matter. Just the fact that it's empty altogether, the hotel states that there are ironing boards and hair dryers in the room, there are not!! I used the only rag in the bathroom to wipe the stickiness off the remote control which turned the rag black.Ok, so the big kicker that actually made me I'll? Waking up, going to the restroom, and seeing COCKROACHES in the bathroom.
Please enjoy these photographs of a place that you should probably just avoid. If I ever come back through here I'll definitely fork out for a hotel that has competent housekeepers. I find it ironic that you are require face masks everywhere on the premises except for the room. You cannot tell me you adhere to covid standards of cleanliness.
The icing on the cake? I ran back down to my car to get my suitcase and there was a sketchy looking guy sleeping in his Jeep. The guy at the front desk did advise me to park my car where he could see it to keep an eye on it. It must be a problem that cars get broken into here regularly. With the thugs speeding through the back parking lot it doesn't surprise me they were obviously looking around scoping out cars. I absolutely did not feel comfortable staying here, But being the middle of the night and a non refundable room I really just wished I would have showered at the truck stop miles down the road and slept in my car. I would have felt safer, it would have been cleaner, and I would have saved 61.50. But they also have a weird $20 cash deposit required and if you don't check out before 11 you don't get it back. Checking out in the morning I actually asked the guy at the desk (different guy this time), if they even had housekeepers, I wasn't trying to be rude, and I was expressing why I was so unhappy and he asked me if I called down to ask for another room. I told him I checked in after midnight and was told it was the last room available, and it was nonrefundable.
On my way through town the other way last week I stayed at a place that was only $41, actually nearby, across the road, and it was incredibly clean. Thank you travel lodge for a fabulous clean stay. I appreciated your Tuesday night fare. I should have just forked out the other 40 bucks to stay there on a Friday night fare.
The luxury inn is a total dive- garbage dump. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE.

Attempted stay date 8/20/17 Had to leave at 10:30 at night with kids as the room was unsafe an very unclean. Sheets looked like someone had an accident. Plumbing noises, cracked glass on picture, door 2nd lock was broken (as if by break-in), shower curtain looked like it was used as toilet paper. TV didn't work, fridge didn't work. Unaccommodating staff. Will challenge fee with credit card company. Save yourself time and potential infection.

1st off there's nothing at all luxury about this place!! Trifling inn and suites! The room stinks, the bathroom has hair and some type of purple stuff in the tub, no towels to wash with, the sink was dirty. The bed sheets had ink stains on them, old cheetos, and candy on the floor. This place looks just as bad on the outside, this place don't deserve the one star!!!!!!
Great price, but needs to take pride of Rooms!!!!!

The room we were in seemed it was very old, and been through a war. The sheets on the bed did not fit, the sheets, blanket, and comforter had nasty stains. The towel's in the bathroom had stains, and the pipes in the bathroom squealed all night. The person in the room above us we thought was going to fall through the floor when walking around, and we had the good room. The breakfast was frozen waffles for you to put in toaster, or bread to put in the toaster, no butter for either of them, just syrup, and jelly, OJ, or coffee to drink. Don't expect a 5 star hotel for 39.00, but over all was better then sleeping in the car...
