Needs Some Serious Maintenance

The rooms need some serious maintenance. The hotel might have seen some better days but the rooms are in a very bad shape. When we pay the "special" inflated weekend price of 5000 for an otherwise 2500 room, we have some expectations out of it. Found the following issues: 1) Stained Sofa, Couches and pillows. 2) Leaking bathroom ceiling, most probably from the floor above. 3) Broken bedside lamps. 4) Flimsy locks for door and windows which barely manage to do the job. 5) We were charged 18% GST on food even though the room tarriff is below Rs 7500/night. I tried reasoning along with a couple of other guests who had the same complaint. But we didn't get any satisfactory answer. I will highlight this with proper authorities and see what they have to say about this policy of the hotel. Pros: 1) Very helpful staff. Always eager to assist. 2) Good spread in the breakfast buffet 3) Nice layout of the restaurant. Enjoyed having breakfast and a couple of drinks there. 4) Hotel provides dental, shaving kit, slippers, Hairdryer in the room which I appreciated.

The experience is immense, the quality of service is class the staff is friendly and the hygiene is maintained very well. A good recommendation for anyone visiting with family nad friends for the first time in Kolhapur City. Also a good recommendation for business colleagues. Mr.Rahul pujari and Mr. Amit

I had booked a suite room in Citrus Hotels, Lonavala. From the moment I entered, I only had complaints. The room had not been properly cleaned , used bisleri bottles, cleaning equipment, hair and dust on the floor. Complained about the same and got it sorted. The next issue which I faced was that the AC in both the Lounge area and the bedroom were taking long to cool the room. After that, I found out that there was stale used water in the coffee maker. Inspite of all the negligence by the housekeeping staff, we did not create an issue. The main point of concern was when we returned to the suite after dinner, we noticed that neither AC was working, on asking the maintanence, they said that there were some issues with the MCB, so only one AC would work and they told me that I had to stay with only one AC in the suite room that too in such hot weather. When we told the reception about the same, they in a rude manner said that we cant give you another room, so please call in the morning. This was such a pathetic and horrible response from them. The alacarte of the hotel was also not at all up to the mark. Due to this, we had to checkout at 11:30 in the night with a 11 year old girl. They did not even care to send the bellboy to take my luggage during checkout. The hotel staff did not even care to find a solution, they happily asked us to check out as they did not want to do anything. This is the most horrible experience I have ever faced.

Spoiled weekend

When we checked in, we found that they were totally booked for some conference, and we were the only two families on leisure stay. The restaurant was totally occupied by them. The indoor gaming was transformed into conference room, so playing for kids. The swimming pool was dirty. The play ground was occupied by conference peoples. The food ordered in room service was pathetic. The menu offered was only the one which was prepared for conference guys. So we ordered the food from swiggy. Breakfast same way pathetic, poor preparation, no taste. Thanks to the restaurant staff who understood our body language and tried to help us, they were very friendly. In short this hote is just suitable for conference meets and not for leisure stay with family and friends. Totally disappointed by Citrus.

Highly highly recommended hotel in Lonavala! We were 2 couples with an infant for a 2 night 3 days stay in the hotel. They offered us room no 23 and 24 which could actually connect into 1 big room whenever we wanted and that was just soo good for us! The entire staff was just so helpful, cooperative and supportive for us. It was our little daughter's first vacation and travel and with Citrus hotel, the experience was just so memorable and truly delightful! The rooms, the food, the amenities specifically the cleanliness and the hygiene was just too good. We enjoyed and genuinely had a great time here. The staff is so polite, helpful that they will do everything to just get you comfortable and make your stay worth it.Really thankful from the bottom of our hearts to the entire team of Citrus Lonavala for all the support and service ❤️
