Stale Smoke and Dirty

Avaliou em 15 de setembro de 2021

DO NOT STAY HERE! We turned up about 11pm and the room stunk of stale smoke and the hotel was just dirty. When complaining to the staff they conveniently sad they had bad sinuses. We asked for a refund and wanted to check in somewhere else. We were told to do it though hotels.com and they would agree. Once we spoke to hotels.com the hotel had refused the refund. Not great customer service and have no idea how this place is 3.9 stars.

It's okay, I suppose. But a bit crap.

Staff welcoming... well more than the entrance was! It is very conveniently located, and when it was a pub, it must have been an important place. As a hotel, it has lots of space and lots of potential. It has the feeling of bored complacency. Rooms are spacious (mine was). And very clean. Could do with a coat of paint though. And if you are putting tea and coffee in the rooms, please also leave milk. Also... if advertising free breakfast, please provide breakfast, and don't blame the lack of it on covid. If that is the reason for stopping it, fine, but stop advertising it. I might consisting again, but it wouldn't be near the top of the list.

Only as a Last Option

The rooms are so small that had there been 2 of us I would have had to check out immediately. The flooring is tacky and there isn't a lift. I felyt quite unsafe whilst having breakfast as I felt if a fire broke out. there would be little chance of esc

One night

Avaliou em 25 de agosto de 2019

I was dismayed when we left the DLR and saw the area, and not happy when I saw the hotel. I wanted to book somewhere else but my husband said as it was for one night we should check it out. To be fair the room, bedding, towels and bathroom were very clean, breakfast was poor but staff were helpful. If you're on a tight budget it is fine as it's handy for the DLR and tube and not far from the Tower of London.
