Great modern hotel and location

Really lovely hotel, the location was fantastic, a short walk to the metro system, and great facilities nearby in terms of shops/Bars. The room itself was nice but not huge, definitely designed for a short stay as no real storage space in our room. The bathroom was amazing, with a fantastic shower. My only issue was the party going on in the next room to us on our last night which showed that the walls weren't particularly sounds proof. The guy on reception was fantastic and very helpful. My recommendation is that if you want to visit the speakeasy bar downstairs or the rooftop bar book in advance as they are very popular.

i absolutely loved my stay here. decent area, i never felt unsafe once. close walk to crypto.com arena in one direction and 7th street metro station and target in the other direction. i dont know what temperature lava those that complained about the water temp are used to, but i had to turn it down every shower. the iced coffee in the lobby cafe was excellent. a fridge would have been nice, but not a deal breaker for me. i will warn older travelers of the fact that the beds are very low to the floor. so those of a certain age or even hadicap may not do well with that. my room, 1009, was excellent and the bathroom was 25 out of 10 stars!

As a diamond I thought I would try something a bit different - is was a nice change - as the others mentioned. The rooms are small - no in room coffee was a bummer as most every hotel has this now and no place to put a suitcase - there is no closet just a hanging bar so at least you could have a luggage rack! Rooftop bar is nice and the speakeasy is ok when it’s open. I am sure this place gets busy in the summer with the rooftop area! Parking is a pain but that’s expected with a downtown location in a big city. I might stay again in the summer

Too many subpar (important) details

My wife and I were informed when we checked in that we were charged a $25 amenity fee and that since there were no amenities we would be given a $20 credit that we could use in their bar and/or restaurant. Hmmm! We did not plan to use either and fortunately I had the intestinal fortitude to ask that they simply remove the fee and they did. At 11pm the night of our one night stay we wanted to shower before going to bed. The water was less than lukewarm so I notified the front desk and though he promised to get back to me within 15 minutes with some kind of update he didn't so we went to bed hoping the water temperature would be adequate for a shower in the morning. It wasn't. Also that night we had to request drinking cups and an extra bath towel .. the room only had one towel and no cups. The empowered person at the front desk was kind enough to remove the $25 destination charge ... he looked for more charges to remove but the only charge left on our bill was the room charge and I guess discounting that was just not possible. The room was small but that was ok ... we were there to only sleep. But the decor is very industrial with a lot of exposed concrete and uncovered light bulbs with clear glass and glowing filaments ... not warm and cozy. Yes, it was clean. No dresser or luggage stand. One 2 square foot table, chest height next to the bed. Very nice shower but useless without adequately heated water. Pleasant and responsive staff. Window shades are light-blocking and do that extremely well.

Room was very nice and clean! The front fest attendants were very nice and helpful. The bar closes at ten but they have options of wine and beer to be purchased in the lobby after hours. Not a bad price either.
