It was cancelled by the hotel as they closed their doors! Gone bust?? We had no experience no expectations Just disappointed not to have gone as the location was what we were looking for Paid nothing experienced nothing So will never know how good or bad it was!!!

I stayed at the Poseidon's Inn for 7 nights in mid-July. Middle aged male, travelling alone, with a requirement for functional accommodation providing a comfortable bed to rest my head at night, decent bathroom facilities and a small desk at which I could sit and work when necessary. I stayed in Room 6, a single room with en-suite shower facilities. The room was perfect for my needs, the single bed was comfortable with two large pillows. Storage space was ample including integrated drawers under the bed along with a small "open plan" wardrobe with drawers, hanging space and shelves. The "bathroom" was in fact a wetroom with a spacious shower area, small sink and toilet. No frills, basic, but clean, bright and perfectly adequate. A decent sized table was also in the bedroom with enough space to read or work at a laptop. A good sized fridge that I was able to fill with plenty of bottled water, beer, fruit etc. was provided. A Given my basic requirements it is hard to find fault with my room. Perhaps the only negatives are that the internal walls are thin and noise travelled easily from the next room, and for what it offers in terms of facilities, £65 per night is at the top end of what might be con reasonable...but in truth I've paid more for less in other places. So in summary I'd say my room at the Poseidons Inn was good basic comfortable accommodation, well maintained and serviced and ideally located for those wishing to explore Lossiemouth and the surrounding areas.

Excellent location, Excellent accommodation,Excellent service. Just a thought, read plenty of comments about dirty carpets, wonder if complainers walk about their own properties with outdoor shoes on. Room needs new kettle other than that stay was great, will return. Barry W Mactaggart

Not a Deluxe Room Has gone downhill since last year .

Stayed here last May and gave it a 5. However stayed for 2 nights last week in the room with a hot tub on the balcony. Carpet was badly stained, holes in the duvet cover, 3 hangers in the wardrobe 2 cheap plastic ones and a size 14 store hanger !!!. Bedside cabinet was warped . A pair of socks in one of the drawers from previous occupier. The sliding door to the hot tub was stiff and didn't lock . Bird poo on the decking when we arrived and when we left so no attempt to clean it during our stay. Small fridge in the room but only 2 ceramic mugs for tea ....no glasses or disposable cups !!!! The bathroom was spotless and towels were replaced . However the other points have made up our mind not to return. No mention of the Golf View Hotel next door for dining so obviously a fall out somewhere.as we were offered breakfast last year We recommend you dine there . Nice food and nice young staff serving you,. So sorry to report this as the view from the room is amazing . However you expect better for the price paid.

Booked here for a surprise for my hubbys birthday, start off with the good points, hot tub was fabulous, the inn was easy to find, also easy parking, the room itself was spotless. Bad points definitely not delux or any kind of luxury, for £100 for less that a 24 hour stay i definitely was expecting more, we actually ended up leaving at 11pm at night to drive 2 hours home, bed so uncomfortable the quilt cover made so much noise, the 4 pillows was as flat as pancakes, the door to the hottub you coukd do yourself an injury trying to open and close it, our delux room looked nothing like the pictures on their websit, our room was right at the front door so you hear all the comings & goings, the parking was also right by our room and windows so again heard everyone parking,yapping, car doors etc, when out in the balcony beside hot tub there was bird poo covering quite a lot of the decking, no table to put anything on, but 2 chairs, the hot tub was good, but apart from the hottub and the cleanliness of the room I certainly wouldn’t be going back ive had much better nicer looking rooms for much less
