The hotel lobby was nicely decorated. Just after Christmas. The furniture looked fairly new. Check-in was easy. Got key cards & went to see if the room was okay. The room was clean & nicely decorated also. So we moved our luggage, etc. to the room. We decided to rest & drink coffee before heading to the family gathering. There is an indoor pool with jacuzzi as well as an excerise room. There are miscellaneous items you can purchase in the lobby. Breakfast was nice. Biscuits were great, boiled eggs, egg omelet, turkey sausage, gravy as well as fruit, juice, milk & cereal, coffee & tea. Oh, there was a pancake machine also. Enough variety to please. I had to get my key card reprogrammed several times. The coffee is really strong. I would rather a medium/breakfast coffee. The bed & pillows were great for me. The air conditioner works well. All in all I enjoyed the stay.

Looks like it's fairly new. Pretty decent location and easy to get to from Hwy 90. Everything is clean, beds are comfortable. Breakfast is order ahead and Grab and Go -( Covid ) Internet is really slow.

Overall, a nice place to stay. Breakfast is hot and ample, good choices (better than most), and the rooms all have fridge and microwave, and nice shower. Also, the Mon-Wed evening snacks are ample and tasty. And I appreciated the Jacuzzi and pool. A couple issues with this hotel are: The walls are very thin, you can hear your neighbor snoring. Also, the two week we stayed their, I had several hot water issues.

This visit was not good. We've stayed at this hotel several times in the past and had Glenn good service. This visit was noticeably the worst one we've had. As elite members with IHG, I expected better service. We are definitely not made to feel special and will be looking for other accommodations in the future.

Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites a nice gem in Morgan City...

We were attending a funeral in Patterson, Louisiana and needed a comfortable and clean place to stay. The Holiday Inn Express proved to be an excellent choice for our family. The hotel staff was very courteous and welcoming. In addition, the hotel was very clean and well maintained. Holiday Inn Express provides a nice breakfast for guests, has a business center, exercise room, and a hot tub and pool. My son loved the indoor poor considering it was November. We had everything that was needed for a comfortable short visit. Thanks for a magnificent stay.
