Excellent stay in a nice refurbished hotel. The location is near the Motorway and close to the city of Mulhouse. Friendly staff. Breakfast is value to the money you pay in a very clean and with taste decorated breakfast room. We'll be back soon on our passage to Italy, Switzerland or the region of the Vogues.

One night stop over travelling back from Italy to Uk First stop in a Kyriad and would certainly use again - location fine room fine and breakfast fine - staff friendly and helpful- no dinner available like a campanile but local recommendation proved to be ideal!!

Incident in the hotel

After arrival we had a little in incident in the room, we probably charged to much on the electricity and the current went out. I went to the reception and told the woman in charge. She told me she could not help me and had no other room. I told her there must be somebody to call in a situation like this. She told me she did not want to bother her Boss. I insisted and finaly she contacted her Boss that lived in a room next to the reception. He was very polite and said that would be no problem it was probably the fuse. That is was and 5 minutes later we had the electricity on again. In my work I have traveled all over the world for over 50 years and lived in all kind of hotels and I never had a situation where the hotel personel refused to help you. They say that the client is the King. We were well satisfied with the room and spent a good night. Situations like this should never have happend. You should make the Lady in charge of the reception at that moment aware of this. I will not take this any further but it leaves me a little bit angry. First off, I would classify this as a motel—not a hotel. It's a two level property. Although marked non-smoking, most of the rooms had the smell of smoke that did not dissipate. Stayed here for 8 nights during a business trip. Found the room to be small in comparison to most American hotels, but was clean. Location was a little dated, but was reasonable for the price. Bathrooms had a full tub/shower which was a welcomed site. If you are traveling alone or are a couple, it's a decent place to stay for a night or two. It is close to the motorway making it convenient to find. Also near a supermarket and McDonalds.

I think I've stepped back into time by about 30 years, and that every previous person that stayed in my room smoked it into the next decade. Terriblly small, and not user friendly. It looks like a 'cabin' in the woods, when you pull up. I almost don't dare write this review, as they might get me in the night. Do yourself a favor and do not stay here.
