Great stay, everything you need in an incredibly convenient location. Clean, comfortable and the staff were really helpful. Make sure you check out the Pub downstairs - great pizza and cocktails. We'll be back.

Accommodation with simplicity and ease, last minute booking and reception was very helpful. It's a shame we didn't get too experience the restaurant as we booked a little later than normal. But will definitely be staying on our next Buisness trip.

Another trip to Mackay.

My husband and I had cause to make another trip to the Mackay Region again in December and again we chose to stay at Rydges Mackay Suites. What can we say, this place just gets better and better and we had another very enjoyable stay in this establishment. Room was very, very nice, well appointed and the staff were very attentive and looked after us very well. Recent refurbishments have made the place even more comfortable. We will be back for sure.

Perfectly fine place to stay in Mackay CBD

I cannot and will not fault the hotel, the room or the staff. I would like to say though that if any one has a gambling problem or problem with pokies, then find a different place to stay, as the hotel sits right on top of Moss on Wood, which essentially means there is a pokie room on the ground floor, about 30 metres from reception.

All in all the stay was good. I was a little disappointed that their bathroom amenities eg shampoo, conditioners, and body wash were all made in China. Also, the bedside lamps and skirting boards had a lot of dust. Very remiss of the cleaning staff. The room was comfortable and had all we needed for an overnight stay. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the linen was very good quality and a pleasure to sleep on.
