The price was right for a 1 night stay
Well to start we were surprised by find this place reasonably price for once. 75 bucks for the night (off season). The room was nothing special just a normal room. The bad part of the whole stay is that none of the staff didn't wear any mask for the guest protection or theirs. The guy we checked in with didn't wear one and carried on like there was nothing wrong. But the sign at the entrance states masks are required. At checkout in the morning again none of the staff where wearing a mask and the heavy set lady was very rude, with NO people skills.This is normally a high priced motel and don't see why. But they don't take the guest safety to heart and it shows.
Amazing
Rooms were nicely decorated very modern, rooms very clean and staff was friendly. The only complaint I could have was our room didn’t get cleaned until 5pm as we were gone all day and came home to our room just then being cleaned, but they did have a large amount of guests check out that day so I know the housekeepers were very busy.
Great hotel
The room was so pretty and the view of the lake was beautiful! The breakfast was grab and go because if Covid. The granola bar tasted stale, but overall it was a decent option. They gave us BOGO breakfast buffets at the restaurant across the street as another option. When we checked in the staff was so nice, but we called the next day to ask about breakfast and that lady was rude. Overall it was a great hotel and we would definitely stay again.
Friendly front desk staff
We had a great check in experience and they were able to accommodate an early check-in. We had a great view from our lakeside room & all the amenities to make it a great stay. This hotel is in a great location and has a beautiful morning view.

This was the best stay in any hotel we have been in for a while. Best Western Hotel of Mackinaw City really knows what a customer wants. The décor made me feel like I was royalty. The staff was very helpful. The view was excellent. The sofa was fantastic with the tables in the room. The headboard, furniture, and pictures make me feel like I am in a dream world. I missed the buffet breakfast that you used to do and I hope this breakfast meal comes back soon. The local area has nothing but long lines of people trying to get into a restaurant to eat and I don’t like waiting an hour to get a table to eat at while it is raining outside while one waits inline for breakfast or any other meal. I will not wait too long in line so I went to the local store and bought my groceries to microwave in my room thanks to the microwave you have in the room. I love the large screen tv on the wall that you have in the room. The patio and lake view was sensational to view. If I could afford to stay in this room for the rest of my retirement, I would.
