Everything's terrible. Do not stay here.

My family and I reserved 3 rooms for 4 nights. We all live paycheck to paycheck and were all surprised by the extra $50/night fee applied to our bill without notice... $200 is a lot to charge for an incidental fee, especially without notice. We still haven't received that payment back. We all researched and picked this hotel because of it's pool/large hot tub, not because of the location, breakfast, etc. Upon arriving, the front desk employee was on his personal phone talking and trying to also talk through the check in process with me. I felt like I was inconveniencing him by checking in. I should have left then! We unpacked and headed down to the pool area to relax after a very long drive. The hot tub was completely taped off and not in working order at all and the pool was freezing. We were pissed. We were there with kids and had to tell them we couldn't swim because it wasn't safe being that cold. That is all they wanted to do. It was terrible. I told the front desk staff I was disappointed and they said, "Well, we just updated our website to say it is closed." We booked our nights via hotels.com months ago. We read the reviews and saw they had a pool and jacuzzi, apparently I should've have called and asked if they were in working order. We all tried to leave and switch hotels but all the ones closely were fully booked because of a Badger football game that weekend. Sadly, we had no choice but to stay. While we were there, we all needed to have our keys reset at the front desk. My family and I are simple and do not expect luxury, but we expect things from the booking website to be accurate. The beds were not comfortable and 5 pillows in the 2 queen bed room were very flat. We could hear every person that walked down the hall or walked above us. I am very disappointed that our family nearly spent $3000 at this hotel and our issues were not handled properly. And we were not compensated for the amenities we paid for and did not receive. Please read all the reviews before even thinking about booking this hotel. I am not the only person with this terrible experience.

Over charged and false promises

Hotel is charging me for a night we didn't even stay at the hotel. I called 2 weeks prior to arrival and cancelled the first night. However, upon arrival, the hotel checked us into the room anyway and charged us. They have said multiple times they will credit us back yet 2 weeks later and it's still not done.

Visited Verona on Business and had a fantastic experience! The room was exceptionally clean room and friendly, accommodating Staff. Thank you for a wonderful stay! I will definitely choose Country Inn and Suites by Radisson for additional travel.

They offer hot breakfast with eggs and biscuits and gravy. The rooms are clean and the hotel was clean. Definitely worth the stay and would definitely stay here again. I enjoyed my room and my breakfast and my love enjoyed the workout room.

Overall, I wouldn't stay at this hotel if I didn't have to. This was a business trip and the hotel itself just looks old. My sheets had holes in them, the paint in the room and bathroom was chipping, the staff wasn't as friendly as they could have been. Things didn't work properly and no one seemed to want to help.
