The most helpful housekeeper in the world

Avaliou em 20 de janeiro de 2019

A lovely little guesthouse with a beautiful riverside garden just outside Chiang Mai, but the biggest attraction is the housekeeper, who makes you feel instantly welcome and looks after you as if you were a long-lost family member. When she saw we were staying at the property all day and hadn't had lunch, she took my wife into the village on her moped to buy some, and translated the menu into English to help her choose. She was so kind and friendly and anticipated our every need. It made our stay absolutely exceptional. The only downside is that it isn't really accessible by public transport, We took the bus to Don Kaew barracks and then used google maps to navigate the 2km walk through the back streets and the rice fields, but to get back back to Chiang Mai we ordered a taxi!

Lovely B&B

Avaliou em 1 de maio de 2018

This is the place for an overnight stay on the way to Pie if you rent a car in Chiang Mai as we did (out of town hence having your own transportation is a must!): - secluded B&B next to the river - romantic quiet location - great spot for breakfast - standard room, comfortable bed (3 star type) The only drawback was the noise of the nature (frogs, birds, insects) at night. Needed earplugs but overall great experience!

Best B&B near Mae Rim

Avaliou em 7 de novembro de 2017

Everything went excellence at Baan88. It was our favorite hotel near Mae Rim. It is actually in Don Kaew where is quietly located away from the main road - naturally great atmosphere. We booked a room with the terrace where we could see the Ping river from our bed. The bed and blanket were super comfy. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We will definitely come back.

Nice Stay

Avaliou em 16 de dezembro de 2016

Nice relaxed stay. Room with pretty decoration, cleanliness and comfortable bed. Quiet environment with beautiful scenery. Very good breakfast, fresh fruit and juice were from their own garden. Also, I like the Thai style dessert - sticky rice. There is no meal provided unless you specially requested. Overall, I enjoyed very much to stay in Baan88. Wish to stay again in the near future.

A cozy little place

Avaliou em 12 de novembro de 2016

The place is small- more like a vacation home than a hotel. We had a front room on the second floor which has a glass panel and a private balcony with the view of the Ping river. Big trees provide shade and cool fresh air. The bed was comfortable and we had a very good sleep. Staff were attentive and friendly. Breakfast was good, both American and Asian. Be aware that the hotel is in a very quiet small village with no public transportation. You can rent a car or hire a taxi from the airport, though. Would definitely come back.
