The hotel position is ok, walking distance from downtwon and the seaside. The room was large enough, recently renovated. The only problem was the absence of plugs, nowadays very important to recharge devices. Coffee and some water are complimentary, which was appreciated. Room was a little bit noisy. Breakfast is available in the bar at the ground floor open to the public with a good value for money and nice atmosphere. Overall, it could be a cheap choice without pretending too much.
Good location. Things could be better.
Great location very near centre of Malaga. Parking very close, although was full when we arrived and we waited 15-20 mins for a space. Room quite small (and double bed not over-large either) but triumph of deign over practicality. Only one bedside socket which the bedside light quite rightly occupied, but where to plug in one’s phone? Bathroom very tight, with shower door that was not wide enough so that water went onto the floor, and slippery shower floor. However, easy to use shower controls (yes!) and lots of hot water. Couldn’t get the air conditioning to work and rang the front desk. “It’s not turned on at this time of the year sir” came the cry! Centre of the city, quite weary and noisy outside and bedroom warming up. Not ideal with no AC. If we had known that we probably would not have booked.
I booked 4 nights and for the first time ever checked out after one. The location and other reviews were the reason I had booked. The location is excellent but I cannot fathom how others have given good reviews. My room was tiny. Only slightly wider than the double bed. The bed itself did not have fitted sheets except for the plastic sheeting they used as a mattress cover. As a result the bed was very hot to sleep on. Very uncomfortable. The bathroom was the real joker though. The shower door could not be opened properly because it banged into the toilet. As a result you had to crawl in and out to shower. The bidet (I didn't need) was so close to the sink that you couldn't actually sit on it unless you were a thin small child. The location is the only positive with this place. Avoid. ------+++++++++--------+- My advice is to avoid paying the inflated prices for staying in the centre and check out the Eurostars Hotel next to the station. Big rooms, great breakfast, excellents bathrooms, quiet and very comfortable beds. A bus for €1.30 takes you to the centre in 5 mins or it is a 10min walk.
