I booked this place because I am a solo female and it said they spoke English and Swedish. I do not expect people to speak my language, but if a place advertises English, then I do expect communication and signs in both languages. When I got there, the only person I saw was a very rude grounds keeper. Who waited until I got all my things out of the car before telling me I could not park there and to drive around the other side. . There was no one to great me, only a sign, in Swedish, on the door. After trying to call, I found an email (in Swedish) and had to translate it. It was a “self-service” hotel!!!! The code did not work. . I found the grounds keeper and told him. He accused me of breaking the keypad and went round to let me in. After I brought my things in, he showed me that the key pad worked for him. I tried it again. Nope. Did not work for me. I found him again and he told me the owners were coming to check on it. . About 15 minutes later I hear a car pull up and them talking. I was in the lounge and thought they would check on me. A few minutes later I hear the car pull away, run downstairs but both the owners and the grounds keeper were gone. . My code still did not work! . I could not leave for dinner because I had no way of getting back in and was even nervous about walking my dog for fear of being locked out. . I felt very insecure with no one on the premises in case I needed help. There was a large kitchen with food in a refrigerator and guests were supposed to get their own breakfast and clean the kitchen themselves. Again, all signs were in Swedish and I had no idea how to work the stove. The next morning, at 8:30am, the grounds keeper was back. This time sanding the floors in a room right above me! The place was empty except for me and another female guest in the room next to me so why did he have to sand right above our room. .

På utsidan är hotellet lite risigt MEN på insidan är det helrenoverat. Hotellet är mycket välstädat och rent. Frukostmat finns på plats men man får plocka fram mat från kylskåp etc. Vi får tänka på att det är ett litet hotell så traditionellt hotellfrukost skulle nog inte fungerar. Drygt 1000m till centrum. Sammanfattning - vi kommer besöka Villa Bergli fler gånger.

Fina nyrenoverade rum och städat!

Självhushållning. Trevliga nyrenoverade rum. Ligger precis vid vägen men inget som störde oss. Ser inte mycket ut för världen på utsidan men fint, mysigt och städat på insidan. Inrett med fina gamla möbler. För att bara sova en natt och sedan köra vidare var detta perfekt!

Nyrenoverat med bra lokaler och rum. Liten toalett samt delad dusch i korridor. Gemensamt kök och utrymmen men med förväntad frukost. Går att köpa helt färska ägg från egna hönor. Ligger dock precis vid vägen lite i utkanten av orten men kort promenad in till centrum.
