Lovely location and grounds

I must say that the office worker Ramzan, and hotel staff except a few were very good and deserving of tips. Local people very kind and helpful. Very safe place - I was a lone woman visitor and was completely safe, if I need help I was always helped. Grounds and beach, surrounding area of side is beautiful. Gorgeous and friendly stray animals I would recommend you help feed and give water Or request the shops/restaurants to as they forget sometimes. Dolmuş people so helpful too and bus station is near hotel. The chef is very nice, the food is average but perhaps this is traditional Turkish style food. I would say try a day buffet. Breakfast was nice, same everyday traditional Turkish breakfast and tea/coffee. Rooms are good. Balcony is lovely view lemon trees and vines wrapped around, very Mediterranean feel. View is beautiful. Shop in hotel is ok priced, not as expensive as the reviews make it seem like! I would say the down side are that you aren’t allowed to order In food or drink from outside, and that heating is extra cost of 45€ but I understand the price of stay is very cheap so they must make up the cost. And they don’t have tea/ kettles in rooms. In rooms there is tv good quality lcd mainly German and Turkish channels, a mini fridge. If you have walking issues this may be hard for you as steps are steep and cobbled floors. Overall it was a very nice stay the area is lovely, animals are great and the staff kind and locals very nice . Locals also deserve great respect for their kindness and helpful nature. One note for people who drink please don’t be too loud or rowdy as it’s not nice for locals and please don’t be ignorant towards Muslim faith. These are pure hearted people and moralled and have manners. They are soft natured . We as tourists are in their country and should be kind and respectful and friendly. Not have racism.

As you are probably aware location location. Lovely little hotel. Beach out the front, and ruins out the back. We did however on our 1st night, were given a not so nice room. Asked for upgrade , which cost €50. Then internet €10 each phone. Booze is very expensive, their supermarket isnt cheap either. So a cheap holiday, extras make it expensive. Pool cold, but clean. Staff very nice. Clean rooms. We enjoyed our stay.

On a positive note the location of Leda Beach could not be better as it’s right next to the ruins. Also the bungalows (sheds) we stayed in around the pool are lovely and clean. Glad we were placed in one of these as I don’t think the ones by the pathways would be very nice to sit outside of. They were kept nice and clean. Downside to Leda Beach is the food. Absolutely horrendous. We paid extra before traveling to upgrade from bed and breakfast to half board. Really wish we hadn’t as we had to eat out as the food is so bad and always cold. Recommend they remove the single beds out of the bungalow so it’s just a double bed and add sink / cooking facilities to turn these into self catering especially as Leda Beach also sells supermarket stock, coffee, biscuits etc so they could make extra income that way instead. Baring that in mind we did travel out of season so hope the food gets better as the summer season starts. Food was available for both guests and workers at the same time so often ran out as well.

cold rooms extra £45 for aircon to warm up which was too bright to sleep . At night very noisy : barking dog chickens, sleeping was awful beds uncomfy, no duvet for winter just got extra blankets, feels like camping. Room was cleaned daily. Food was basic no fruits for breakfast , juice for extra money, restaurant cold, often smoky from heating log burner. Location great in ruins of old town

It’s all about the location with Leda beach , ruins one side sea the other , don’t expect luxury but clean and good home cooked food , excellent value for money ,we stayed for 7 nights towards end of November on a half board basis and we did have a couple of rainy days
