Noisy and staff very unhelpful.
Rate we booked has been changed by the time I checked in ( obviously higher) with no explanation. Room was not cleaned and the excuse was it was a new policy not to clean guest rooms or dump the trash. Ice machine did not work and staff could not have cared less.
carpet will leave you feet black
There was an awful smell in room. The Carpet turned my clean feet black in 5 steps. The Sink was at knee level. The Tub was sandpaper rough and dirty. Not impressed and won't stay again. Covid breakfast offerings did not include ANY protein.
You get what you pay for. Front desk lady was super cool. The ac never got cold was set on 60. Sticky floor in the bathroom. Blinds smelly. Big tv fridge in room worked pillows were ok. Bed was ok. Just wish it would have gotten colder. Got there at 3 to turn down the ac. Knew we were going to be hot. Nope.
Fathers day weekend
It was a great experience at best western, my room was very clean and comfortable, shower and AC works great and we didn’t have any problem with the reservation and check in process. We spent a great time at marble falls
We had an unfortunate stay at this hotel. Check-in was fine, but when we got to our room, after bringing our stuff in from the car, I went into the bathroom and lifted the toilet lid. The lid almost fell off. It was broken on one side and only hanging on by one attachment. Then I looked down and there was poop, human waste, smeared inside the toilet. I immediately called the front desk and the lady was very appolegetic and offered to change us to a different room. She brought the new keys to us (and she had 2 housekeepers in tow), escorted us to the new room and stayed until we had looked everything over. Unfortunately, the room was the last one in the building and was within about 10 feet of a road so we had traffic noise until almost midnight. The bed was comfortable and everything worked ok, but the next morning, I took a shower and the tub drain was partially clogged so I ended up sloshing around in water over my ankles by the time I got out. With the health standards now in place due to Covid-19, leaving poop in the toilet from the previous guest and not making sure drains drain sure calls into question the thoroughness of cleaning for the rest of the facility. Hopefully this was a one-off experience, but I cannot recommend this hotel when there are others available.
