Overnight stay as part of multi day hike in region

Stayed one night here as part of a multi day hiking trip in the region. We had a clean and modern room with a fabulous view! Hotel managed baggage transfers required for our inward journey. We opted in for both on site breakfast and dinner. The breakfast buffet was average but satisfying. Dinner was also a buffet which lends itself to some food types but not all and as we arrived late due to a long days hike, food was not as fresh as it might have been earlier in the evening. However we were appreciative of the ease to eat and stay in the same place after a long day. Staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel was well located for arrival by foot and departure the next day by foot. Sauna and spa facilities were lovely.

My husband and I stayed here on the second leg of our holiday. The hotel is lovely. Spotlessly clean, well placed and everything you would want an Alpine village hotel to look like. The rooms were a really good size with a lovely balcony view of the mountains. The bathroom was big with everything you could need. Breakfast was plentiful with a good selection to set you up for a day in the mountains. The staff were very polite and happy to help you whenever they could. Upon arrival we were given a free pass that enabled us to use the cable car and bus free of charge which was a real bonus. I would definitely recommend this beautiful hotel and hope to return one day in the Winter season.

We stayed here last week during our honeymoon, originally we just booked for one night but we loved it so much we decided to stay a second. We had dinner on both evenings (half-board package) and the food and service was amazing! The wellness area was lovely and relaxing with a great little sauna and outside area. Everything in the hotel was spotlessly clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return in the future.

small and nice hotel. verry good food (breakfast&dinner) , they make own ice-cream and it is nice to have one when you come back afternoon. fair prices. very nice and wellcoming team. i came 2 times in a row in less then a month...no need to say more.

Wonderful Hotel Niederreiter in Maria Alm

This wonderful hotel was my base for a walking holiday with Ramblers Worldwide Holidays last week. Centrally situated in the beautiful village of Maria Alm nestling under the surrounding mountains. I cannot rate the hotel highly enough. Excellent spacious room with a view over the village to the pretty church and hills and mountains beyond. The food was well cooked, plentiful with a wide range of Austrian cuisine throughout the week; salad, soup and three choices of main course, followed by what the Austrians excel at - wonderful desserts! The Austrian buffet on one evening offered an array of Austrian specialities. Great buffet breakfast with everything you could wish for and some wonderful choices of different breads to set you up for a day's walking. A lovely terrace offered balmy relaxing evenings chatting with new found friends over a drink. The pool area looked calming although I did not venture in! There is also a whirlpool, sauna etc which looked equally as inviting. The Niederreiter family and staff were welcoming, attentive, helpful and not too intrusive, just perfect. A wonderful experience which will last long in the memory!
