Clean but looking rather dated Hotel

Where do I start. On arrival into the reception given your wristband and depending on your accommodation we were in the apartments off the main building into a golf buggy and taken to your room. We arrived late and ate from the midnight soup selection bread salad and soup . Next morning had a wander round main restaurant. Then down to the 1st bar around the pool where you get your pool towel and find a coffee shop a pizza takeaway type shop another bar the auditorium for the main entertainment and finally the walkway to the private beach. Turning right there is an adults only part and the a la carte Italian the fish one is in the opposite direction.(1 free trip per holiday) Back to the hotel main pool a secondary pool and a sort of rapids next to it a small crazy golf area and some tennis courts . The bars shut at 12 but you can drink in the reception bar until 4 am all inc. Entertainment is a bit hit and miss. The obvious bingo and kids disco is daily and the shows vary. The best one is the Chinese acrobats. They do a white night which when we went and looked was obviously for the adults and the kids looked a bit lost. My son got bored so we went back to the bar. WiFi is rubbish the further you are from the main building. Daytime entertainment is music and kids inflatables some days. There is a shop hairdressers and jewellers on site. There is a supposed sports bar there which is a bar with a TV showing football . Food is varied and plenty of it again on the all inc it can get a bit boring but it's not too bad . We are out some nights and some nights in. Location is the downside. It genuinely in the middle and I mean right in the middle of marmaris and icmelar. Taxi into either town is approx 3-4 pounds each way. For me personally it wasn't good enough to want to stay in 24/7 and have lots of things to do like other locations but it's a nice tidy bit dated mind hotel. In its peak it would have been as the name implied a palace but there are better / more modern elsewhere in town.

Not for babies & little children

Not for children - seaside pier DANGEROUS and a lot of walking needed on the premises so if u have a baby or toddler forget about it! You’ll need to carry kid & stroller up&down and all around Also, in u have mobility issues or simply wanna relax and not run around stick to the main building, if possible Food could be better, drink ok just at the pine bar, noisy rooms

Beautiful Hotel and wonderful staff

Simply a fantastic holiday. My wife and I were joined by twelve more family members of all ages. The accommodation was excellent, sea view rooms have the best view from the balcony. The hotel is ideally situated between Marmaris and Içmeler with a beautiful sea front promenade walk between the two. The grounds of the hotel are extensive and offer numerous areas to laze around three swimming pools or the sea front and pontoon. The staff were polite, professional and very friendly. The food was excellent and there was ample choice to suit all tastes. Food and drink was available all day long! Don't try to diet! I would like to give my special thanks to Kuzey Uygun, the Front Office Manager. He made every effort to make our large family stay such a success. He is a consummate professional and a charming man. Thank you

Great hotel!

Had a great time at Grand Yazici in October. The setting and views are just beautiful and you can imagine you're on your own little private island. Its a big complex set into the hillside on different levels which means lots of walking up and down slopes. We spent most days on the pier at the Kiyi restaurant as the pool areas were very shaded. Here you'll find fashion barman who makes the best cocktails in the hotel and the Kiyi restaurant which has the most friendly and helpful staff and lovely food for lunch and the Italian a la carte in the evening. The main restaurant had a great variety and friendly waiting staff but could be quite chaotic. There are a number of bars with the Pine bar providing the strongest cocktails and the best music! Evening entertainment took place in the ampitheatre and the dance shows we watched were very good. When that ends its over to the Pine bar for a DJ or live singers until 12am. Very lively! There are beautiful flowers all over the hotel and the smell from them and the pine trees is just devine. Our room was great, it was one of the modern ones and we overlooked the water at the Palace beach pier. Cleaned daily and plenty of clean towels provided. My only complaint was the odd man in the towel hut who didn't like to give you a clean beach towel when handing over your used towel lol very very odd. Overall we had a great stay and went into both Icmeler and Marmaris, taxis were very cheap. There's shops on site too, a hairdressers and nail bar and a spa. It was buzzing in October so I can imagine how lively it would be in summertime! If you're looking for a fun lively complex with good food and beautiful surroundings you won't be disappointed
