Gorgeous hotel but outrageous pet fee
We loved this hotel, it's beautiful, clean & comfortable. The breakfast is great too. The staff is really nice & we loved our room with kitchenette. Great location, short drive to large shopping center with Starbucks, supermarket, & the fabulous Ivarone restaurant. The only thing we hated was the super high pet fee! It's the most expensive we've ever paid - $175 for our week long stay with 2 dogs.
Best hotel stay ever
Wonderful quiet super clean hotel great breakfast very polite staff enjoyed waking around the hotel for exercise felt very safe while staying there will definitely stay at this hotel and recommend to all of my family and friends
Homewood suites is nice place to stay for business travellers, away from hustle bustle of city/downtown. But has some good stores nearby. Provide free WiFi, breakfast and dinner from Mon-Thu. Rooms are equipped with Kitchen and all utencils if you want to cook.
Nice Property; Would Stay Again
Was going to be in Bethpage for three nights and was looking for a Hilton property. This place popped up and had good ratings so gave it a try. I was not disappointed. It was conveniently located to the highway, easy to get to (though making a left turn exiting the property took a little bit due to traffic) and the hotel was modern and well maintained (both inside and out). It's right next door to a Hilton Garden Inn (same driveway from the road accesses both) so if that's more your style/speed, that's another option. I'd never done the digital key thing which uses the Hilton app on your phone to open the doors to the hotel, your room, the fitness center, laundry, pool, etc... I really liked that; one less "thing" to keep track of. I was able to check in using the app and should have been able to check out that way as well but there were computer problems that prevented that. I just stopped at the front desk and told them I was leaving and they checked me out later that day when the system was working again. When I checked in on the app, it asked me if I wanted an upgrade and I said yes. I had no idea...When I got to my "room" I found a suite with two bedrooms, two baths, a full kitchen and a living room. It could have easily slept 6 people. I basically lived in half the suite while I was there. Very nice but way overblown. Next time if I get offered an upgrade, I'll be more careful before accepting. Nothing wrong with it; just way more than I needed. I took advantage of the free breakfast and the "happy hour" which really was a lite dinner. For breakfast, they had waffles, cereal, coffee and juice along with some sort of egg dish, a variety if potatoes and a meat. One day was scrambled eggs, hash browns, and bacon and the next it was breakfast burritos, sausage patties and fried potatoes. Most of the items were reasonably good (though the bacon was severely under cooked) and considering the price (free), it was more than worth the cost. ;-) "Dinner" was some combination of pasta, lasagna, meatloaf, macaroni & cheese, broccoli, salad, bread, etc... It was different each day. There was also wine available. It wasn't nearly as good as the breakfast though again, considering the cost, it was well worth it. I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel was obviously well maintained and very clean and that's the biggest thing to me. The food was reasonable and there was good security. The only real annoyance I had was that there was either some construction going on above me, people had rowdy kids or they were moving furniture. Lots of bumps and moving furniture like noises. But it didn't last too late in the evening or too early in the morning so it wasn't a big issue. Next time I'm in the area, I would definitely consider staying again.
Due to flood
Stayed here due to water damage in my home - I made the reservation quickly and the hotel was very friendly and helpful. Ensengul helped me several times at the front desk and Chef Don provides a delicious dinner buffet Monday - Thursday. Christine I. helped me with my reservation and was very accommodating. She gave me a room that was very convenient for myself and my pet that stayed with me. You know they are accommodating when they welcome pets. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well thought out. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
