Proporcionam estacionamento grátis a poucos metros a frente do hotel. Possui um restaurante integrado, com um bom café da manhã, que no nosso caso estava incluído. Somente não leva as 5 estrelas porque o chuveiro estava um pouquinho ruim. No mais, recomendado.

Basic hotel for Merida stay

Avaliou em 24 de julho de 2022

We stayed one night before flying out of Merida and that was enough. Perfectly safe place but obviously older and not the cleanest or best maintained. Room was large but half-empty and simple. Beds were not very comfortable. No elevator. No breakfast. Lovely courtyard and small pool area which people enjoyed. It was worth what we paid (very inexpensive) and we felt safe, but is not for relaxing or being pampered. There are better options nearby for slightly more money.

PERFECT LOCATION

The hotel is perfectly located in the center of Merida. The service is very good and the facilities are nice too. The breakfast that is included in the rate is served at the Fridas Restaurant that is around the hotel and is a basic breakfast with eggs, beans, juice, bread and coffee. What I liked the most is the location, as you can easily walk to all the important places in the center of Merida, such as the Santa Lucia Park and the Central Square. Good value for money. Rate is $50 per night approx.

Great hotel, centric, great beds, awesome personnel

Merida has everything. Great people, lots of museums, and wonderful people. Ever night there is something going on. The Hotel Merida is walking distance to everything you want to see. The only time we took a cab was to go to the new museum and to the bus station ADO. Clean, beautiful, great beds, and great price, but the best was the way you are treated. No smoking!

Terrible hospitality and not worth the price. I had two nights reserved and left after the first night.

I don't understand the reviews with this hotel. Check-in went fine the only suggestion I give is for guest parking to be made available. The first issue I had was when I walked in my room was mold around the windows. Then, I called the front desk to ask for additional towels since there were only 3 small sized towels in the room for 3 people. Where were the face and hand towels? Where is the shower place mat to ensure I didn't slip and fall in the tile? When I called reception to request more towels I was asked what I needed them for because I already had some in my room. Never in my life have I been asked this type of question at a hotel, it's basic hospitality. In addition we didn't have anywhere to hand towels after. The closet space in a room for 4 is sad. Because I was offended I found plenty of more feedback. Get some bed skits on the beds, add two end bed chairs, and use the room space. The bedrooms are way too big for the amount of furniture in the bedroom. I hope this feedback can be used to improve service and hospitality. I am from Yucatan and was embarrassed for my friend from Argentina to get this first impression from my hometown.
