Great for the Money
Hot water, refridge, microwave, ironing board, exercise all clean and smell free. quiet nice stay. Lots of parking, well kept hallways and carpet. Ok breakfast, Juice and many hot delights. staff wore masks. Comfortable beds.
I left hungry and smelling of curry.
Stay in your car it will be better. Strong odors of curry spice cooking and mildew throughout the lobby and room. No bottle water on check-in the worker pointed to a drinking fountain. Nothing at all for breakfast even though it was promised when I checked in, only Luke warm coffee. worker stated the owner did not feel like setting up breakfast. Owner did not offer any refund.
It takes care of our needs
Lower priced than others in area, yet clean. Staff friendly. We look for a comfy bed, tv with channels, shower, and it be clean and Days Inn provides this. Breakfast could be somewhat better, but there is a variety. Older building but that is OK.
Terribleness
Terrible...the whole place smelled like curry... The carpets had there own stink.... This place needs alot of work.....I was afraid to let my 9 month old crawl on the carpets .... The tub caulk was cracked...smh
The. WORST.
We recently stayed at the Days Inn in Mexico, MO while visiting for a wedding. There were at least 40 guests staying in this hotel with our group and I can promise you not a one of them would have anything good to say about this hotel. It is disgusting, out dated and the managers are RUDE. As my 7 year old son said, "This hotel is ITCHY!". I am curious where the people who have left previous reviews saying this hotel was "clean" usually stay? This hotel is far from clean. On our first night staying in this hotel, my oldest son pulled back the sheets to his bed to find grass clippings in the sheets. It was obvious that the sheets hadn't been changed from the previous guests. So at midnight when we were tired from wedding festivities and just wanted to go to bed, instead we were changing dirty sheets. My best advice to anyone thinking about staying in this hotel is------DON'T DO IT! You will regret it.
