The hotel in general was great. Clean, updated, and friendly staff. Midland is my husband and I’s half way point from Fort Sill to Fort Bliss and we visit quite frequently. Out of all the hotels we’ve stayed in this was by far the best and, surprisingly, for a good price. We will definitely be staying here again.
My company booked this hotel for my layover in Midland. It was a clean, comfortable hotel. Romm was clean. Breakfast was amazing. Our company uses several hotels for layovers and I'm going to request this hotel whenever I stay in Midland.
Staff was amazing they went above and beyond to make me feel at home. I would definitely recommend them and continue my business stays with them in the future. Breakfast was hot and fresh. The bed was amazing and comfortable.
Terrible Customer Service
Room had no working air conditioner and it was 101 degrees outside, with my room facing the west where the sun was shining directly into the room. Front guest clerk came up, looked at thermostat, reset the breaker and did not fix the problem. She stated two other units had no air conditioning either and the repair man had been called. They were completely booked up and could not move me to another room. I told her I was going to dinner and let the repair person in when they arrived. I came back almost three hours later and it was hotter than when I left, air conditioner still not working. I asked to speak to the manager and she was not on site. The clerk called her as I was demanding they do something to fix the issue. I called several nearby hotels and they were all booked as well, or I would have left and went to another hotel. Her only answer was that we called the repair man. After several calls with the manager, the clerk "found" another room for me to move to. It smelled something terrible, but at least the ac worked. I never received a call and or apology from the manager. Since they only bring in between $20,000 to $25,000 a day and do not have an onsite maintenance man, the least they could have done was go buy a $20 box fan and offer me a cold bottle of water. After this terrible experience they still charged me the full amount for the room almost $300. I would not recommend this hotel as customer service is very lacking.
This is the 2nd time that I have stayed at this location. It is amazing, staff is great and helps with anything I need. The bed is so comfortable and the room and hotel is extremely clean. So, when I travel to West Texas for business or personal.. I will always stay at this location. Also, a shout out to Elissa at the front desk. She is a shining star , great at customer service and really makes me feel like I am home.. not at a hotel.
