outstanding hotel

In Mineral Wells we stayed at the Crazy Water Hotel and Plaza. The bottom floor was some upscale shops and a coffee bar. Our room was on the third floor. The view was meh but we were on the wrong side for the views of the Baker Hotel which dominates the town. The room was gorgeous and had just been remodeled. I say room but it was a suite. There was a full kitchen an area to lounge with a couch that still smelled new. There was also a large bedroom with adjoining bath. You could easily live here indefinitely it was so well stocked and apportioned all you would need is food. Our only minus is that the bathroom sink lacked ample counter space for your stuff as you got ready. Great Great visit and the whole staff was friendly and helpful.

New Accommodations in a Historic Hotel
Avaliou em 5 de novembro de 2021
If you're looking for modern accommodations in a historic hotel, this is the place! This hotel just soft-opened after a major renovation. Work is still progressing so we did see some areas unfinished and a few workers. The room was amazing! Everything is brand new from furniture to linens, and the hotel was built in 1927 so you still have that old school elegance and feel. We stayed in a King Suite on the second floor. It had a kitchen with dishes and utensils provided. The bathroom was huge! Both the "living room" and bedroom had TV's and ceiling fans. There is also a laundry room available for guest use. The room contained a binder with information on the history of the hotel and town along with listings for local food, shopping, attractions and even night life. There are several unique shops and a salon in the hotel, as well as a brewery under construction. And it's located downtown with more shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. There's even a rooftop patio with unbelievable views of the town! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Staff was extremely nice and friendly. It's not a full service hotel, more along the lines of an AirBnB. We definitely recommend it for those interested in historic properties and wanting to stay downtown with lots to see and do within walking distance.
