Horrible Service!! Complete lack of customer service!
As a Diamond Hilton member who travels the world, I would say the customer service (if there was any) at this property is absolutely atrocious! The front desk management is the worse I've experienced. The front desk exhibited rude behavior, portrayed a sense of guests were a complete inconvenience, aloof and ignorance. Quite frankly, Hilton should use this property in all hotel management on-boarding and training....specifically....observe the management of this hotel.....and you will quickly learn what not to do, and more importantly, how not to treat guests. I would like to specifically call out the front desk/end manager (a male) who's name escapes me. This guy is the Webster's Dictionary definition of RUDE!! I observed him being rude to several people - consistently. He clearly has a negative prejudice to women. He spoke to women like they were a complete inconvenience to him, and did the same to my two daughters as they politely waited in line and politely asked for 2 towels. I will not get into the specifics about this chauvinistic manager in this review, but do plan to contact Hilton directly. I'm sure the property will (or would) respond to this review and say "thank you for your feedback, but we would have been happy to address your concerns during my stay if I would have asked" well, I attempted to - twice. It went nowhere. My assumption is, this property is booked most times completely due to its close proximity to to the beach. This was the reason we stayed there as well, but it will be the last time I will stay at this property. Next time, which will be in two months, I will stay at the Hilton Sandestin Resort. The Hilton Sandestin Restort is not much more money. If you're staying with points, each night is ~10k more. In my opinion, the additional money and/or points is well worth it. I would also add, the Embassy Suites by Hilton Destin - Miramar Beach is completely taking advantage of the COVID-19 situation. They have done nothing to compensate in other available areas to increase the customer experience. Again, good proximity to the beach, and that is the ONLY positive. You are now informed - BUYER BEWARE!!!
Nice hotel but terrible servive
Stayed for 4 nights for a family vacation. Hotel is really nice and close to the beach. The problem is the service. Front desk always seemed to have a bad attitude, like you were an inconvenience to them. Beach towels and bath towels were consistently unavailable. When I asked for beach towels the front desk just said they were out. When I told her they have been out of towels since the previous day and asked her to please check. She called and said some were ready and they would be brought down. I waited 20 minutes and finally I volunteered to go get them myself if she would tell me where they were. She refused and acted annoyed and said they were on the way. That afternoon when we got Bach from the beach we all wanted to take showers and asked for bath towels. Not surprisingly they were out and said they would send some to the room. 2 hours later we got our towels and could finally shower. Trash was overflowing in several areas and was left that way for 3 days straight. As a diamond member ive traveled to lots of hilton hotels. I can truly say this is the worst one I've been to.

I called in with questions about my upcoming stay and had the pleasure of speaking with Delia. She was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Happily answered all of my questions about airports and other lodging accommodations nearby for family who didn't have as high a budget.
Beautiful waters, beautiful hotel, great food...
I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. We came down to getaway for a few days, and we couldn’t have been happier! The hotel was clean, and the lobby is gorgeous. Check in was easy, and our stay wouldn’t have been the same without Dairyn. She was awesome, friendly, professional, and helped us with anything we needed! The pool was nice, but the private beach across the road was amazing. It was a short walk, and we enjoyed the beach everyday of our stay. I would caution against staying on the first floor if you will be utilizing the pullout sofa, as there is a lot of noise from the atrium at all hours of the night. We didn’t expect breakfast because of all of the government restrictions, but the hotel went above and beyond by providing carry out plates for guests to enjoy. The food was so much better than the average continental breakfast, and the staff was always friendly. We enjoyed this place so much, we came back again the next week for a few nights! If you’re looking for a great, comfortable, clean stay, this is the place for you!
Great place to stay!
Escaped Ohio for warmer weather and some sun. With no business travel scheduled due to the foreign virus swirl, I spent 5 nights at this extremely well-managed hotel. Food & beverage service was shut down during my stay but plenty of great places for carryout nearby. The pool was open (and the incredible beach reopened on day 2.) What made my stay so enjoyable (other than the weather) was the hotel staff...thank you!
