Very nice stay - many places to eat and shop

Stayed here for 2 nights and had a very pleasant stay. The front desk did mess up my reservation but corrected it giving me another room. Was a bit of an annoyance but only a minor gripe. Rooms were clean and good size. The bathroom was spacious and the shower very modern and large. Many shops nearby , Walmart, Target, Costco to get your basic needs. Also a lot of restaurants in the area ranging from fast food to dine in. All an easy 2-5 min ride from the hotel.

Nice Hotel w/ Incredibly Poor Service

This hotel felt modern, new and nice. The facilities and rooms were clean and the AC worked great. Unfortunately, the staff and experience were so below average, that I honestly wouldn't come back. On multiple occasions I called down to the front desk and no one would answer. It took hanging up and calling back 2-3 times to get an answer. Then when stopping by the front desk on multiple occasions, no one was available, then finally if you were loud enough in the lobby a front desk agent would come out to ask if you needed help. If you needed anything at all (sheets, towels, toothpaste, a blanket, etc) you had to call down to the front desk to have them no answer the first three times, and then finally be told that you had to come and get it yourself no matter the time of day. Then the day of checkout, a Sunday, a hotel employee had the audacity to knock multiple times on our door at 9:20AM to ask what time we would be leaving when checkout wasn't until 12PM. We were woken up for no good reason and they could send someone to the door to ask an unwarranted question, but couldn't for any legitimate gust needs. After working in the hotel industry for 5 year I have literally never heard of or experienced an employee knocking on a guests door hours before checkout to ask when they were leaving. I was absolutely appalled. I am giving this 3 starts based solely on location and the fact that the hotel itself was nice and clean.

I have been a loyal customer of IHG for three years, and I am also a Spire Elite member Unfortunately, Holiday inn Morena valley put an end to this relation after stealing my expensive hand watch I called when I left the room, and they told me they found it; this was in December, On 27th January, I called back, and they confirm they have the watch, so I sent a shipping label, called back to make sure they got the label They confirm they have the label and going to ship it back to me. Guess what never saw it again This is my last time to book room with an IHG

The property is nice upon entry but housekeeping leaves much to be desired. One of the best parts of our stay was the front reception clerk "Jasmine" who was so friendly and welcoming. My kids and I really enjoyed her professionalism and personality. Rooms were not well cleaned upon arrival and on our second day when I asked for the room to be cleaned I returned to find it in the same condition. Called front desk and after some attitude from a different front desk employee housekeeping eventually made it to the room but definitely wouldnt use the word clean to describe what housekeeping did. They only loosely remade the beds and nothing else. Carpets weren't vacuumed (evidence of crumbs etc), tub/sink/counter/toilet all left uncleaned, tile floors near the doorway and in bathroom not cleaned (same stains on the floor when we first came in the room were still there). The breakfast was decent but the scrambled eggs were grossly dry and the omelette with cheese was dry and had something that looked like cheese but definitely wasnt. Coffee was really good though and the cinnamon buns and pancakes made up for the stuff you couldnt eat. Property is centrally located near various department stores and restaurants (fast food & sit down) and just a few streets down from the Moreno Valley Mall. Not the quietest hotel. Lots of noise and stomping on the floors. Not my first choice if staying in the area after this stay.

Great sleep on beauty rest beds we appreciate the quietness the facility is very well maintained and The cordial staff seemed willing to address questions and the breakfast was very good it is a new hotel at this time and close to shopping and freeway access
