My flight diverted to RDU and had to spent an night in Raleigh area close to the airport, chose Cambria because I’m a Choice member, they had free shuttle and lowest rate compared to hotel close by, room was gigantic 2 king size beds just like 2 bedrooms apartment.

I'm not sure where to begin. The website advertises both a pool and a restaurant. I'm betting the restaurant hasn't existed for years. The pool was “under maintenance”. There was a free breakfast – which was not advertised but nonetheless, it did not look appetizing. There was a group of partiers directly beside my room and then directly beneath me. They started playing loud rap music after 11pm at night that went until 3am despite my request to the front desk to call them and complain. While it got better after the call was placed, it was still too loud, AND the worst part was that it even though they stopped at 3am, it started up again at 6:30am. Who does that? When I went to the front desk the middle of the night (1am) and asked about changing my room, the ridiculous response I got from the desk clerk was "I can change your room but I can't guarantee it won't be loud wherever you are moving to."...which leads me to two conclusions: 1. The entire hotel is filled with partiers and you cannot expect a full night’s sleep wherever you stay. 2. He was lazy and not really concerned about my comfort and ability to sleep at night. He felt that I was a delicate flower that would break if there was any noise whatsoever. Were I working behind the desk, I would have said. “I am so sorry. I am going to call them again but why don’t we go ahead and change your room. And I’m so sorry that you have to deal with this at 1 in the morning. In fact, I am going to give you a refund for all your troubles.” THEN, the worst part is that I confirmed with the front desk the next morning (after getting 2.5 hours of sleep because the rap music started up again at 6:30am) and the front desk clerk said the partiers were supposed to check out today. Did they? No, they ended up extending their stay. That is not the fault of the front desk but there you have it. But the partiers didn’t start the loud music until MIDNIGHT! So I didn’t realize I needed to change rooms for real until I was already cozy in bed. I went back to the front desk and the very same overnight clerk again told me the same thing: "I can change your room but I can't guarantee it won't be loud wherever you are moving to." This time, even though I needed to be up at 5am for a flight, I did not listen to him. And I switched rooms. And guess what? The other room was super quiet. So his very ‘sincere’ concern for my other room’s well-being was clearly misplaced. The only thing that was good about the hotel was that it was 10 minutes from Wegmans.

Room was nice and clean, comfortable beds, specious room with 2 TVs, front desk staff was amazing particularly Swar, he was professional and very helpful, I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone and will be back.

Terrible hotel, lack of/rude management, and the hotel itself is a construction site and gross.

The management on duty were absolutely unprofessional, rude, and when you needed something from the front desk, they were never there. The hotel was basically a construction site, with floor moldings off all around the second floor. There was a giant stain of champagne from someone’s previous stay on my bedroom wall, and when I asked about it to the hotel manager, I was told that it was okay and I’ll be fine with having a gross room. Planes fly (very low) over the hotel and will absolutely keep you up all night. The walls are thin and you can hear absolutely everything. I highly, highly recommend that you do not stay at this hotel. Like management (or lack there of) was out of line, the hotel itself is gross, and I wouldn’t waste another dime here. I’m actually checking out a day early and going to stay at the hotel down the street because of how awful the experience has been.
