One big disappointment

I picked this facility because it had a restaurant and bar. When I checked in, I was told the chef quit and so no restaurant. Neither of my keys worked so I had to lug my suitcase back to the front desk to get them reissued. The room phone did not work, the breakfast was not complimentary and after paying $30,:all the hot items were cold including the coffee, the cook stated he couldn’t turn up the sterno because it would over cook the food. They did not offer any decaf coffee. I wrote to the management and their solution was to give me points to spend on a future stay, not enough to cover a room. This is not satisfactory. Holiday Inn express was a better option on our return trip.
Good stay at Four Points Sheraton.

Very nice, very clean hotel. Wonderful staff. Good breakfast $12 for non-Elite members but worth the price. Restaurant & bar open and nice, affordable drinks. Our room was very quiet despite being by the elevator. Housekeeping was great, giving us extra towels and supplies.
Nice room but fail on customer service.

Positives: My room and bathroom were very clean. Bed was comfortable. (Room 222) Close proximity to RDU and they have a shuttle to the airport. Negatives: Staff seems completely amateur. They don’t or didn’t use the mobile key in the Marriott Bonvoy app even though I had checked in there and requested a mobile key. I arrived very late after the time I requested and way after check in time. There was zero acknowledgment of my Marriott Bonvoy Titanium status except for, “points or breakfast” when I was checking in. (I know the hotels hate when guest throw around their status and I would never do something obnoxious but at the same time this is the system Marriott set up and we’ve worked hard and payed a lot of money to get where we are) I requested information about the hotel shuttle via chat and got no response at all until the next day when I had already checked out of the hotel. (See picture) I choose Marriott because all of their brands make you feel welcomed. Customer service is more valuable to me than anything else. Unfortunately this property fell short and I will stay at other similar Marriott properties when I’m back in the area next time.
Worst Check in experience EVER

After driving 2 and a half hours up to Raleigh to pick up my husband from airport, I got to FOUR POINTS BY SHERATON and they wouldn't let me check in w/o husband He uses his Marriott Rewards and we have NEVER had an experience like this. ONCE my husband landed at his layover, I gave the girl the info. AND SHE WAS WAITING FOR MY CREDIT CARD and charged me for the room EVEN though my husband's card ON FILE.
Modern facility but management frugality prevails

Breakfast is a packaged muffin or sandwich and coffee. No milk, juice, tea, yogurt, cereal, toast, etc. In room, they have coffee maker but no coffee, and soap dispensers but no soap. AVOID THIS HOTEL!
