Rooms are really nice and staff is amazing
Checked in December 26th to celebrate our wedding anniversary and tour Gettysburg. There was a family above us who was very loud. They were screaming and Stomping around all night. We called the Front desk and they got it stopped immediately. They were happy to provide whatever we needed and had a decent breakfast daily. When I checked out I forgot my upper and lower partial. I found this out when at home 3 hours away. Even with covid the manager retrieved my partials and held them until I arrived back to get them the same night! My partials coat almost $5k. The housekeeping staff is very nice and we cannot say enough on how nice our Stay was
Great hotel, excellent stay
I recently had to stay at the Country Inn and Suites, Gettysburg, because of snowy, icy roads. I stayed in a King Suite and it was very clean, and my bed was very comfortable. I don't know what they do to get the sheets so soft but they were so soft, clean, and smooth. I liked the separate seating area and the wet bar. I had a lot of room to spread out and it was very quiet and relaxing. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. The pool was open until midnight and it was nice and clean. I have no complaints, only compliments.
Expected a little more
We stayed here while visiting Gettysburg. The price was right and location was convenient. My wife liked that it was right next to outlet shopping. The suite was comfortable, but could have been a little cleaner. Disappointed at the size of the refrigerator. Grab and go breakfast because of covid, but than had it anyway on Sunday. Why was it OK for Sunday and not Friday or Saturday? Staff was pleasant and helpful.
Never Again
We stayed here a lot since we have Family in the area. The hotel used to be top notch when it was Under the Carlson brand name but since Raddison took over they went down hill. They tack on a 50 dollar incidental fee on top of your regular charges and the pet fee is outrageous they said it is for the extra cleaning of the room I call Bull Crap because we found five prescription pills throughout the room and guest and employees smoke right outside the front entrance and being having asthma problems it is hard to walk through a cloud of cigarette and cigar smoke. And last my card was charged when I left the hotel a few days later the charges were put back on my card I thought well hey they must have comped me the stay because of the pills we found and my bank which I called numerous times said they don’t see where we stayed here because it is not on my charges I called the hotel also and they said the money was charged on September 13 I said it was not they said it was. So I returned to my bank in October and said this money from the hotel stay is in my account and it’s been over a month she said the hotel must have comped me the stay and to use the money because it’s mine I said ok fast forward to November 13 and boom the hotel took the money out and I called the hotel and of course he seen where the charges were taking out in September but non on November 13 so someone screwed up on there end I caused me all kind of grief so watch out with your debit or credit cards because they are shady.
Nice
The staff were great, everyone was so nice, especially the guy working nights at the desk. He was great, from Baltimore I believe. The rooms were very clean, and the location was nice as well. The only minor issue is the ppl walking above in the floors are loud. We noticed in a friend's room as well...that aside id definitely recommend this place
