Quite good Value

We decided on this hotel as the reviews were not to bad, when we arrived we could that the building was certainly not new, we were greeted warmly enough by a young man who helped us with our luggage, the receptionist seemed rather off hand which we found very unusual. The room was fair enough nothing flash but clean and tidy, had a medioca dinner in the restarant . For two nights and at THB 500 per night it,s certainly good enough, although it must be said that the shining light of this hotel is it,s very large, clean and inviting swimming pool.

Rooms were a let down, better value in Mueang Phetchabun.

I was impressed with pool area but the food was not much good, the rooms by the pool are ok but expensive for the area. I asked about cheaper rooms and was shown an adjoining block which was disgusting, open doors on reception with leaves and rubbish blown inside and the whole place stunk of insect killer.

The hotel is about 10 minutes from Phetchabun and about 45 minutes or so from Lom Sak. They have a really big pool. Many locals go there to swim so don't expect to have the pool all to yourself. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we didn't have a way to get around the province, but the staff helped us find a place to rent motorcycles. They have a restaurant you can get food from if you feel lazy to go to Phetchabun.

A Friendly Good Value Hotel

I've stayed here several times over the years. It's essentially in two blocks. A pool area with rooms above and a seperate accomodation block a minutes walk from the pool. Rooms are reasonably sized, the ones over the pool are larger. The staff clean them daily. The pool is open to the public, so tends to get busier at weekends and during school holidays. Thai's tend not to like the sun, so the busiest time will be in the evening. Food is decent, with a good choice of Thai and western food. Always found the staff here friendly. As others have said it's a bit out of town. It's about 5k into Phetabun proper, so you will need access to transport as there is nowhere to go within walking distance.

4 Out of 5 for Value!

OK this place definitely isn't the best hotel in the world but in terms of value its actually pretty great. The rooms are pretty basic but clean, the air-con works and the beds are comfortable. The pool isn't bad either! For what we paid 350 Baht a night it's impossible to complain. The only draw back is that it is a little out of town.
