Nice hotel but needs updated
We stayed for our anniversary. We wanted a nice hotel on the luxurious side. The foyer was grand the grounds were kept nicely, and everything was clean in the lobby. The rooms were nice, but furnishings were dated and we had a leaky faucet. Some of the carpeting was worn in some areas. OAN we did enjoy the amenities near by, more specifically the jet skis.
Not a couple's escape.
We booked a deluxe studio for the weekend with the intention of enjoying a couples getaway for my birthday. Seeing that it is ranked as a four diamond hotel, we thought we would enjoy a little luxury. We entered the room and immediately noticed the smell. It smelled like mildew and dust. Nothing looked clean. The furnishings were outdated and worn. The walls were stained. With Covid, we did not feel like it had been sanitized or cleaned to standard. We were so disappointed. We looked at a second room, which smelled slightly better, but the furniture was stained in this unit, and the balcony railings were covered in plastic. We requested a refund and left. My birthday weekend and hopes for a little relaxation with my husband were ruined. If you are planning a relaxing getaway with your partner, do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.
Celebrating my 50th bday
The deluxe suite was everything it was supposed to be! It was clean with all the amenities! The view from the balcony was great. No room service due to Covid. Restaurant wasn’t open for dinner and the lobby bar not open for dinner on Sunday so we had to order out. But the limited menu in the bar was delicious. The Covid restrictions were the only negative. We will be back !

Clean rooms, friendly staff, beautiful space to just relax and feel comfortable and safe! We were in a lovely two room suite and had a gorgeous view from our balcony! Having a full kitchen helped us keep things we needed to keep cold and gave us the chance to cook breakfast right there in our room! We had space to relax and enjoy!
Customer Service
We have stayed here about 4 times, this was the first time that I received such rude customer service. Booked the same room I always book but upon going to room it had an exterior entrance. Went back in to another clerk (rude one) to change room she said wait I didn't help you the first time, asked the bellman did we do anything to the room like we weren't standing there, we didn't even get to room as soon as I saw it was outside we turned around. Rude clerk mumbling something about I had gotten an upgrade, totally untrue, then told me that all she had was first floor and I said fine. Got to room the waterway view was more of a shrubbery view. Called back down and same clerk said to me "I told you that's all I had" I said okay waited a few minutes and called back for manager. Somehow rude clerk was told I wanted manager and miraculously a room on the 4th floor became available was told it was meant for someone that was checking in the next day but would give it to me! Also, the sheets in the second bedroom were ripped all across the top never seen this before at this hotel, housekeeping had to see this when changing the linens.
