The owner was extremely demanding and rude. She asked us to check-in at 15:00, later than the check-in time stated on the Website. She shouted at me when I told her that that booking. con website stated that the check-in desk would be open till 14:00. The overall feeling I got from the place was that customers were expected to accommodate the owners arbitrary wishes such as check-out at 09:30 am. We booked an extra room for the third day but the owner attempted to give us a much smaller room than the room on booking.com. The owner informed booking.com that we didn't stay at the hotel (although we did). Not sure why she made a false declaration. Perhaps to avoid a bad review? Only stay here if desperate.

Hidden away a little off one of the main streets in Naples and a few doors away from the "Museum of Torture" is the Viva Napoli. A small but very modern and very clean place to stay if you are in Naples. We were looked after very well but Dario and his dad Franco from start to finish and they should be very proud of their establishment. There wasn't anything that Dario and Franck wouldn't do for us, and we will definitely return to the Viva Napoli on our next trip!!!!!

Despite being called a Bed & Breakfast, breakfast is not automatically included in your booking (it is extra) so that's misleading. Candies and small snacks are provided free of charge. Location is great, 3 minutes walk from the main street of Naples, 7 minutes from train station and Alibus stop, 18 minutes from a supermarket but the accommodation is on the 2nd floor (no elevator) of an apartment building with locked main gate so initial access is very tricky (no clearly marked bell, I had to wait for a resident to leave the building so I could gain access and check in on 2nd floor). Check-in procedure could definitely be improved with tired travelers in mind (who don't feel like jumping thru hoops to finally get into their room). Note that there is a 2EUR/night "tax" that you need to pay in person (cash only). Besides that, the place is very clean, modern and the room is very comfortable (heating, a/c included). Walls tend to be very thin and the staff is rather careless (yells, listens to loud music, stands by your door and talks loudly from 7-8am as if they were alone, etc.). I also had a woman (cleaning lady?) enter my room on two different occasions in 3 days while I was sleeping (for no apparent reason). That was very sketchy! Alex, the main desk guy, is friendly and helpful but smokes in the facilities so that is definitely a negative for me. Ho passato un weekend con i miei amici. Attirata dalle recensioni ho deciso di prenotare e posso solo dire di non aver fatto scelta migliore. Alessandro è stato disponibilissimo,ci ha accolti molto bene e in tutto il soggiorno è stato sempre presente venendo incontro ad ogni nostra richiesta. Le camere sono bellissime,pulite,complete di tutto. La colazione inclusa nel prezzo del nostro soggiorno è stato un altro punto a suo favore. Sicuramente quando tornerò a Napoli saprei già dove tornare...Grazie di cuore x il bellissimo weekend. I ragazzi di Milano
