Stayed at the hotel while in town for the SEC tournament. We arrived early and the staff allowed us to go ahead and park in the deck so we could go the game that afternoon. Check-in was quick and we were offered a bottled water and a snack by the front desk staff. We got on the elevator and you have to use your room key to use the elevator. The room was clean and had everything you need in a suite. My only complaint was the bed was a little firm, but it worked for one night. The complimentary breakfast was okay and had a waffle and pancake station. One of the biggest reasons we stayed here was location. We were 2 blocks from Bridgestone arena and close to Broadway and many restaurants. The convenience is worth the extra money, you can park your car and walk everywhere. We saw a lot of Uber drivers around the area if you decide to go somewhere and leave your car at the hotel.

Pros: great location. Rooms were roomy & clean. Had big fridge and microwave in a kitchette area. Great lounge area with pool tables, Foosball, shuffle board, board games, etc. The kids loved it. Pool area is on 2nd floor roof and is lovely. Breakfast was tasty and clean. We had a lively breakfast attendant, Koeven (not sure on spelling). He was so joyful and kind. He learned all the kid's names and remembered them from day to day. Coffee, hot water and muffins are available all day. As well as ice water and fresh fruit. Easy walking distance to Ryman, Broadway, Assembly food hall, country hall of fame and Bridgestone Arena Cons: Called 2x to get extra towels and they never sent them. I had to go to front desk and wait til they brought them there. No indoor pool for bad weather days.

"Our stay in this Tru hotel was awesome, The personalize service is remarkable Cameron and Olivia are always willing to please the guests. The location is fantastic walking distance to downtown area, the service is outstanding, the breakfast is very good. Parking is expense.

As a Diamond Member, waited (wasted) HOURS for my room to be ready. Well past the stated 4:00 PM check-in time (which is ridiculously late for a check-in time to begin with). And not a single person working the desk, including the manager (I’m guessing he was the manager), cared or paid any attention to our concerns … which in the end, had turned to disgust. In my 40 years of extensive travel, this was as bad as I’ve seen.

Convenient, clean, easy, a little high priced but worth it if you don’t have a car or don’t want to pay for an Uber.

Location location location, this is walking distance to everything, including both stadiums for sports. Broadway is also a 5 minute walk, super convenient stay. The rooms are large and clean, not enough dishes or cooking utensils. Overall amazing
