We arrive, the lady was friendly at check-in. We get our room and when we open the door, the smell of damp, moisture hit us in the face. No biggie at this point. We turn the air on 70 and all seems fine. The next morning, we all wake up sore. The beds are hard and stiff as a rock! We agreed we heard a whiney dog in the room next to us. We also notice the a/c is leaking into the floor. No wonder the moisture! I am about to fix a cup of coffee and find cat treats behind the coffee maker and check the water reservoir and it has moldy junk all in it. No coffee for us! We all get a shower and the drains are clogged and slowly draining. At this point, we are angry and go to the front desk asking for another room and tell her all the problems. The website says no pets. She says they are allowed, but they don't advertise it and I said your site says they are not! See my screenshot of the site. She then says they would get maintenace to fix the a/c and they would give us a new room when we got back from the beach. As this day progresses, we meet 2 different people that live there! Never a good sign! We get back from the beach, and the fronyt desk lady says "oh, we deep cleaned your room and all should be good." I still request for the other room as promised. Nope! They already gave it away to someone else! We go back to the room and the a/c was still leaking and drain still clogged. I know there are far worse places, but this is not a 3.5 star rating hotel and should be a last resort! Go elsewhere!
Most staff awful
I stayed at this hotel because I was able to get a room. The price was way too much. The Manger Lynn was hard to find, when I did find her she was gossiping with housekeeping. I explained my problem with the room not being clean. My son went to the pool and was asked if he was a guest. He came back to the room very upset.He said Lynn( he looked at name tag) was very demeaning to him.
Covid19 stay - Average but staff very nice and friendly
Front desk staff were excellent and friendly. Location was great - amenities closed due to Covid19 situation. Little disappointed there was no coffee in the morning or a grab n go breakfast offered like most hotels during this pandemic. The room was old but clean. The bed was not the most comfortable I've slept on to be kind. Tough times so they get a free pass. Recommended during normal times.
We had a wonderful time. They are the clean & brightest rooms w/all the help u could ask for. The hours for the pool perfect and keep very clean. The breakfast had a large verity of items to chose from and always very fresh.
Navarre Florida days inn
Good value for dollar, close to all ammenities and walking distance to beach. Carpets needed cleaning but over all decent. Staff was friendly and service was good Novisible insects and breakfast nook wss ok. Pool was good but needed more frequent skimming recquired.
