This place was amazing. Christos was so helpful and friendly. Great location with ample parking and so quiet and peaceful. I am extremely picky about cleanliness and this place was absolutely 5*. Walking distance to the beach. Still convenient to restaurants and if you want more options only a 15 min or less drive away.

Amazing stay in Naxos! Me and my girlfriend stayed three nights in Naxos and booked a suite with sea view. We were welcomed by Christos, who is a wonderful and helpful host. The accommodation is very nice and clean. We rented a car which I would recommend on Naxos to see al the beautiful towns on the island and the road to the accommodation. All-in-all a wonderful stay!

Neutral points: Car is a must have, there’s no way to avoid. Road is unpaved to the hotel, certainly not the owners fault but there’s a higher than normal chance of damaging rental car and the last couple of kms is wondering if a stone will damage the car or when avoiding oncoming traffic, if you might drive into a bush that will scratch the paint work. I think the other review describing the hotel as middle of nowhere is unfair, it’s just in a quiet location that needs a car. Negatives: The hotel is about 200M from beach. If you want to swim at the beach, you have to leave your belongings on the sand or pay for a lounger - not sure that this is adequate when considering the price. Would be better if the hotel organised a deal with the guy on the beach and that guests could use the loungers for free. Food is not offered, looking on Google maps, everything looks really close but it is not the case. We opted for a room where the view was nice not realising that not having a kitchen means having to drive every time that we wanted to eat. We ate cornflakes for breakfast, lunch and dinner involves at least 20 min drive each way. Without a kitchen, it’s neither an airbnb nor a hotel. The upside was that we couldn’t really drink 🤣 100% opt for room with a kitchen, without one the stay is quite inconvenient. if you are looking to enjoy several drinks in the evening (and not drink drive) this is definitely the wrong hotel. Retreat is a bit misleading, you are renting a small apartment in a very quiet area of the island. Positives: Rooms are modern and clean, generally the whole hotel is spotless, comfortable bed, christos is a really wonderful host and very accommodating. The hotel is also quiet, as was the pool during our stay. View is lovely.

This place is not a hotel as listed. Disgusting and remote property falsely advertised as a hotel Stole my money and refused any compensation after I left after one night. They lied to booking.com that I did not show up to my reservation. Stay far away from this place

Christos and Elena are wonderful hosts nothing is too much trouble 5* accommodation, spotlessly clean, 5 minutes walk from sandy beach, sunbeds available to hire €15 for day drinks and food also, try the Roof-top bar 2 minutes walk and a lovely bakery takeaway and cooked breakfasts. Christos was great help where to visit and where eat takeaway his advice it was spot on, lastly eat at Nikos and Maria's
