Comfortable and friendly
My wife and I were really pleased with our one-night stay at the Hampton Inn in New Albany. The room was clean and spacious. With the exception of the rug, everything seemed fairly new. A big shout-out to the folks who prepped breakfast! During the Covid-19 pandemic, the coffee cups were individually sealed in plastic, even the coffee stirrers were wrapped and sealed. The breakfast was all cold items because of Covid, but it was more than plentiful. One drawback was the shades in our room ... they wouldn't close ... so we had a 3-foot gap where people could see in through the sheers. Seems like an easy fix. Otherwise, a great stay!
Great Stay
This Hampton Inn was one of my favorites to date. The staff was very friendly and polite! No issues during our stay, which says a lot since there was a local basketball tournament and the hotel was FULL of kids. Breakfast spread was nice and the waffles are always a hit.
While visiting with Family
Easy to get to the hotel off the main highway. It is a newer hotel that is in a very nice quiet location. Internet worked very well from the room. The breakfast had a nice selection. Enjoyed my experience and will stay there again when I am in that area.
Handicapped room on 3 rd floor with a tub????
In the event of an emergency, do not use the elevator, use the stairs! Wait we are on the 3rd floor, wow what a ride that would be in a wheelchair. Handicapped room has a tub, what if you can't stand, hmmmm!
2020 1st quarter manager’s meeting
Great experience as always. Met or exceeded expectations. The young lady working in the evening was the best front desk person I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with and I travel a lot for business. She stopped what she was doing every time I came through the lobby to ask how may stay was going and if there was anything that I needed. I have at this location several times, but she took it to a whole new level and eliminated any thoughts that I may of had about trying any other place in the area, which I was considering since I travel there several times a year.
