I stayed at this hotel as a family member had an event there. The lobby is clean and the staff is very friendly. They need new luggage racks as the one we had was on its last leg. When I asked if there were any other they said one more. The area for the Continental Breakfast was clean but the ceiling had so many spots of Water damage this can’t be good over food. As I walked to my room I saw two rooms that seemed dangerous. One room housed Maintenance equipment The door was open I saw paint and other cleaning supplies and equipment. If someone is not watching children this could be problematic. The second was a room that the door was ajar and the lock was broken on the door. It was a room with no bed and I saw a vacuum. Rooms like these must be locked for the safety of guests. These rooms remained open for my whole stay. The Laundry room was disgusting the floor was dirty and there was a lot of rust. I think the hotel has potential but they need to pay for Maintenance to be done in many areas. I saw a fire extinguisher that was exposed where anyone could get it the case was broken. In my room the Air conditioner cover was not completely on there was so much dust I’m not sure if there was a filter in there it looked like it had not been cleaned in years. There was rust in the tub and the fixtures were not attached to the wall well. I will try to attach pictures to this review. Like I said there is potential if repairs are made. I did not eat the breakfast so I can’t comment. The room that was rented for the event was very nice, it was clean and I think rented at a reasonable rate. Something as easy as a dresser to repair was not Extreme scratches . This could be sanded and repainted. I would not stay here again unless major changes are done.

Needed to pull off the highway to get a few quick winks. Rooms were clean, they have tried doing a few updates. Overall, not bad. Beds could be better, front desk lady in the evening was super nice. Also, there were some cool pics in the lobby

3.5 Stars - pleasant experience

Traveled to spend the holiday with family. Had a bit of concern when reading older reviews but WOW - what a nice place. The hotel has been completely renovated . Clean and quiet . Our room had a very large handicap accesible bathroom with great lighting , hand held shower and very clean. TV in the room, king bed with very comfortable mattress . Pillows too soft for me. It was a cold week and the heater worked perfectly and was not noisey at all. They added a power strip so ample places to plug in electronics. Breakfast was what we are used to- sausage, eggs, waffle maker and the usual muffin, bread, bagel ,danish and cereal with juices, mild and yogurt. Coffee not so great - weak . Staff smiling and considerate. We had some concern about possible noise from the sports bar located in the hotel but not an issue at all. And bonus - this place is close to a major grocery store and gas station as well as restaurants. When I say close, I mean walking distance. It was also close to freeway that takes you to downtown Pittsburgh and for us, only a couple of miles to family. Would definitely recommend it as a great value .

This hotel has been around about 50 years and has come under a few ownership changes. Our K room was nice, but one size of the bed sagged badly to the middle. We had a large TV with about 50 channels, but none were in full HD. Breakfast selections were OK. A larger lounge chair in our room would have been nice. The staff was very friendly.

Quiet, Perfect

A great place to stay, nice and quiet. The facility is modern and in good shape, especially for the weddings, etc. Breakfast was good, we didn't have time for the pool, but it looked good. It's a little way out of Pittsburg, but easy to get to. Not even very busy when we stayed. The staff was very very good, professiinal and friendly.
