Amazing stay - perfect hotel!

We stayed here for two nights on an epic road trip, and I really was impressed by the quality of the hotel. The location is perfect if you are flying in privately - it is right next to the runway at KLAM airport. The location is also great for exploring Los Alamos if you want to get to all the surrounding national parks and reserves, and there are several! The breakfast was excellent, the pool was the perfect temperature (and has a hot tub!) and the exercise equipment worked great and is open 24 hours a day. There is only one treadmill and one elliptical along with a stationary bike and weights, all of which are in great condition. The staff is very helpful and attentive as well. The room was nice and quiet with very comfortable mattresses. Another nice thing was the towels - they are nice, new and fluffy!!!

Excellent Place to Stay When Visiting Los Alamos

We have stayed at this hotel several times when visiting with family in Los Alamos/White Rock and have had great experiences each time. The front staff is friendly and very helpful, and the suite style rooms are ideal for families of 5+. The hotel amenities are great and the hotel is very clean and welcoming. Beautiful views of Los Alamos and down to the valley are a nice bonus!

To start with the positive, the staff is friendly, the beds are fine and the suites are spacious and have lots of closet space if you need that. The bathrooms are clean. The kitchenettes: poorly stocked, not entirely functional. No pots, when I asked the front desk for one I was brought a pot that was still dirty with food still crusted on it. The stove didn’t work. The mugs all had residue lines from old coffee in them. The microwave had a metal piece inside that was falling off that made me nervous. The laundry: Two washers, two dryers, one of them out of order. The washers were two different prices for no reason. Plus there were no timers on the dryers which made it harder for the line of us waiting to use the one dryer to figure out when each load would be done. The gym: small and cramped and not really a place you want to be Breakfast: very bare and as cheap as possible. The hotel was fully booked when I was there and they still didn’t set out much of anything. The coffee was unusually bad too. A malfunctioning card reader on the door? I don’t know what was going on here but my room key wouldn’t work longer than a day and even then barely. I know to keep the key away from my phone or anything else that could demagnetize it; it wasn’t that. Even a fresh key would have to be inserted 4-7 times before I could get it to read it and let me in. Needing a new key each day is a huge pain. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Dana and her staff did an exceptional job and made sure everything went perfectly. Just outside town but accessible to everything in under 5 minutes. The scenery is unbelievable. Definitely a place I’d stay anytime I visit or have friends visit Los Alamos.

I would like to thank Lizbeth for the great service she provided. I spend roughly 10 months a year in hotels and she gave me the best experience and customer service ever. Her attitude was great and she was very helpful. This young lady is great at her job.
