Moderno, funcional e bem localizado.

Esse hotel é bem localizado, muito limpinho e organizado! Foi a primeira vez que me hospedei em um hotel sem recepção, recebemos um código por e-mail e através deste código temos acesso ao hotel e aos quartos, método que funcionou perfeitamente.

Fabulous location

After reading all the negative reviews we arrived armed with bug spray, cleaning supplies and our own pillows but we were pleasantly surprised! Our room was large, light and airy and got a beautiful sea breeze. Decor was tired and whoever painted the room was rather slapdash but it was clean and comfortable. It was quiet at night despite the rooftop bar. We would stay again.

Avoid, like a (bed bug) plague

TLDR: Avoid, save your time/money. The Good: - Location (near Newcastle+Nobbys Beaches, Light Rail, Parks, shops) - Views of the city aren't bad - Price is ok (~$250/nt) but could/should! be cheaper The Bad: - Access to the building/carpark/rooms requires PIN numbers SMS'd from mgt. Our 2pm initial check-in time came and went and - despite contacting them - they were tardy in their reply and hadn't provided the info, requiring us to buy 2 hours of metered parking outside and to go for a long walk and wait. Far from ideal, after a (long) drive from another town/city. - Lack of front door staff accentuated this issue. - $20/nt underground parking fee is a tad annoying The Ugly: - We first noticed how dusty/dirty the room was: it's lights, TV, switches, top of wardrobe etc. The musty/dank smell didn't add confidence either. (See photos) - Then in the bathroom, we found _blood_ and mucus on the tiled wall ! (See photo) - Finally, we noticed numerous spots of _blood_ and what looked like mould on our sheets. We requested immediate replacement of the sheets which the cleaners addressed the next day at 10am. - During our stay we noticed several small bugs around the beds that looked like little cockroaches. It seems they were in fact _bed bugs_ as when we returned home we were literally covered in bites. (See photo) The blood/dark spots in the bed were likely due to their activity. Summary: We had a generally great time in Newcastle but we're somewhat furious at the management at this "hotel" and their lazy, sloppy practices. Don't give them your money.

Overdue an overhaul, rip off at current prices

For $250 night plus look elsewhere. Noone on site, grubby looking skinny corridors, grubby looking entrance which could do with bleach and a scrubbing brush as could the lift. noisy fan in bathroom, soggy bed, poor room general upkeep however the sheets were clean! Unable to get onsite parking, told closest parking 300 meters away at the beach! Highly not recommended and totally overpriced for what it is. Photos do not tell true story
