Overall we were disappointed with customer service or lack of it .But our main issue was breakfast ,a friend joined us ,as we are local to this hotel ,we were told that there would be a charge which we expected,the friend ordered poach egg on toast ,it arrived one piece of toast one egg and she had a coffee ,not once was she told ,this would be charge as a full English breakfast,on going to reception to pay she was asked for £15 one egg one toast and a coffee ,what a total rip off ,if this is how they treat local people,I would not have given them a bad review,but we felt ripped off

Two Day Break

We have just returned from a two day Valentine break at the Passage House. We have stayed here before. This time we were in the hotel as opposed to the Lodges, where we have stayed before. Our room was fine, although in need of a refurb, there was a threadbare carpet near the patio doors, and the bath panel was cracked. However, the room was fine, with tea and coffee making facilities and bottled water. We also had a bottle of Prosecco and a red rose, which was a nice touch. The bar area and restaurant and conservatory are lovely. The staff are very good. Lovely view from our balcony over the River Teign estuary. Breakfast was a good choice, evening meal was fine. Probably visit again in the future.

Weekend at a very nice hotel

Me and my wife are staying for the weekend break and we would recommend it to anyone. The rooms are very nice and clean, food is very good especially the breakfast with cooked food and cereal you help yourself to, evening meal has lots of choice for meat eaters or vegetarian. Staff have been very nice with any problems you may have sorted.

I meant say a big thank you Yo Hellen at the passage house hotel for all the care and attention she gave us especially. to my husband. Nothing was any trouble to her we will be back. Delightful location, spacious room with lovely spacious clean aspect and view, impressed by the spa pool gym and other facilities. Every requirement was met by the hotel supplemented by the great riverside location, additional Passage House Inn restaurant and exceptional staff service. On an additional visit to the hotel, Paul on reception went above and beyond with his exceptional efficient polite and kind service. Paul represents all that is best about The excellent Passage House Hotel. Thankyou.
