Our Youth Hockey Team traveled to Niagara to play a tournament at Dwyer Arena. We had the pleasure of staying at Courtyard from 10/7 through 10/11.
Let me start of by saying Ken and his front desk staff were wonderful and accommodating. During the entirety of our stay, I didn’t hear any complaint from our team members about the hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean. The lobby/lounge/eating areas were comfortable. The restaurant was closed however we certainly benefited as we used the tables for our take out meals. The location worked well for us, since it was minutes away from Dwyer arena
We also had a wonderful experience dealing with a Sales Manager by the name of Tia, she assisted us with booking the meeting room for our Team events. Although everything was done through email, she made the process simple & easy.
Tia and Ken thanks for all that you do. This hotel will always be on top of our list when we are traveling to Niagara.
Nice hotel masked under a lack of service

It appears to be within walking distance of the falls, but it's actually placed a little further than that. I think you're better off driving.
A former chocolate factory and relatively new Courtyard, it still smelled a little bit of chocolate right before you got into the lobby, which I thought was pretty neat.
The hotel itself is nice, but because of COVID it's quite understaffed and the bistro remains closed. We originally booked two nights here, but on the second day we ended up switching hotels.
With limited service, I wouldn't recommend staying in this hotel, at least not right now.
Great re-use of an old factory into modern hotel.

Check-in was a little slow; clerk announced there was a $10/night parking charge which I objected to whereupon she informed me that since I was Platinum the charge was waived (my objection to the charge is that it's an open lot, signs indicating the hotel is not responsible, etc., so what are you paying for.....??).
Only one elevator was in service but room was fine - cool high ceilings and a balcony. No real services in the hotel - no food, beverage or seemingly anything else.
We walked to Falls Park area from hotel - nice walk along the river leading to falls so it is a nice build-up of the rushing water. Falls area was not too busy, easy to navigate and always just an amazing display of nature. Not being able to cross into Canada due to corona restrictions was not a big deal.
After dinner, we came back again to see the falls in a different light - probably the 10th visit or so for me and still, it is so impressive.
That evening the Seneca Casino set off fireworks for the 4th of July and we sat on the balcony and felt like we were in the middle of the display - quite a fun addition that we hadn't even anticipated.

It's only a mile walk to the falls. We got in to the hotel early (11am) and they were able to check us in early. It is $10 a day for parking. They have no food on site right now because of Covid. They give you a 10% off voucher for a cafe about a half mile away called Spot. We went there for lunch, food was good but service was horrible. Nice hotel, clean, good location.

We've experienced the lack of services at most hotels during our 3 month trip. Most Courtyard's have at least have some level of breakfast not in Niagara. The room price seemed high for lack of beverage, food, or room cleaning during our stay. The room was OK, and the location was close to the falls. Front desk staff was fine.
