Horrible experience please do not waste your money

We stay at this hotel due to the naval base, the first room have live ants, They move us to an other room, both rooms floors were filthy, the New room the next day AC got burn, They move us to the new room where AC works, But have death ants and death roaches, We purchase this hotel by Orbitz with horrible service and not helping at all. We made the complaints and were move to 3 different rooms in 2 days, Front desk said Larry the GM will call us, But he never did. On first night around 1:30am we call Orbitz to cancel the reservation but instead of canceling they hung up few times. Make me a favor if you are coming to Norfolk do not stay at this filthy Place!!!

We got here late and had been traveling all day and was too tired to go looking for another place.I don't normally write bad reviews but I use trip advisor a lot when setting up trips and don't want anyone else to make the mistake of staying here !!! Our room smelled sooo bad like cross between wet dirty dog and urine ,room was very damp too,took off shoes to get in bed and there was so much dirt had to brush off bed,the hair dryer cord had black mold growing on it,we slept for a while but got up early cause it stunk so bad and we were so disgusted that we didnt shower there just got out as fast as we could. If you are in the area and tired like we were i would find a place to park and sleep in my car !

The property could use a few renovations but the room was fine. The breakfast was good except for the juices. OMG. The machine that mixed cranberry juice cocktail concentrate and water or OJ concentrate and water put WAY to much water in the mix. The juices were translucent. It was like drinking water with a juice aftertaste. The shower was fine at 8 at night but in the morning they don't offer enough hot water. It was like warm. This is a December. Not good. Final complaint: the Pepsi machine was sold out of everything except green tea so I bought 2. Problem was that the machine had been stocked with regular tea and not green tea. The management here obviously doesn't care about the guests.

We were on the last leg of round trip through Virginia and had not made any bookings in order not to be compelled to follow an exact route or schedule. We found the Quality Inn by chance and I was impressed by the friendliness of the reception staff when asking for a room. The Hotel does not offer many amenities and we had to find a restaurant before settling down which did not worry us, apart from the fact that there was no possibility to get anything drinkable which is a bit unpleasant on a hot day. The room was generous with two rather comfortable beds and it was quite clean too. Bathroom and showers were not that inviting, but then I guess for the money paid you cannot expect a 5 star service. Breakfast was rather good in a friendly atmosphere and generally we were not disappointed having stayed here.

Do not stay here . I spent $175 to spend 2 hours in this hotel. My sons ball tournament was cancelled and I didn’t even spend the night before heading back home . The motel is old, musty and filthy. The pool area is horrible . The pool had room keys in the bottom of the pool and a pool light and wire sitting on top of the pool ledge. Dead roach in pool vestibule . “Keyed” pool doors just push right open . I didn’t feel safe at this place . Filthy moldings and door in the hotel room ...Horrible !!!
