Birthday VIP Footy experience

So, this was a birthday celebration for my partner. The only way we could gain access to 'Five Regions' restaurant for dinner was to book the $699 Footy Experience (which came with a room for the night). That was OK. My partner had to work on the Sunday so we only made use of the room for the Saturday afternoon. To kick off the celebrations I ordered a Ploughman's Platter to be delivered to the room. Online it was advertised as $39, we ended up paying $42. That would have been OK, only the platter was quite woeful. There was a measly selection of a few meats (tasted quite old actually) and 4 x cubes of cheese no bigger than 1sqcm, all of which were dry.....I think they had been left out uncovered for quite some time. Very disappointing. Half way through the afternoon the TV in the room went bung so as a result we missed the afternoon footy. Overall not impressed with the room and the room service food. Great stay, great game

This was our second stay at this lovely hotel. Our first on a game day. Crows v Blues - go Crows, great win. Was so easy for parking, accessing the oval etc. Wish we could stay every home game. 😊 Only thing would be a few more choices on the room service food menu. Will be back

Fabulous experience

Such a great way to go to a game - arrive early, relax in the reception bar with a glass of wine and watch people arrive, walk straight to your seats from the hotel, then have a heavenly sleep in THE most comfortable bed. A memorable experience, and my team won! The rooms are small but really well furnished and were perfect for our stay.

Well appointed rooms with I-pad to control lighting, curtains, room service and everything else. Check in was a breeze although the lifts can be a little confusing. There is one for the stadium and one for the hotel. We chose to use the valet parking but I have to question the value of it. When we went to go our car dinner we were told by the attendant "that if I'm not here just leave the keys at reception." We were not told where to park the car upon or return. When we checked out, we were given our car key at reception and had to find our car. Well appointed rooms with I-pad to control lighting, curtains, room service and everything else. Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. The blackout curtains worked a treat but there was lighting from the USB inputs and a red light on the ceiling that tended to light up the room a little. Breakfast was at Bespoke with a great view of Adelaide oval and the service was prompt and friendly. I have seen that other reviewers have noted not being offered their complimentary drink on arrival. We were not either, but a quick request to have them sorted that out. Great location, beautifully appointed will stay there again.

We had a luxury escape package that we used Mon- Wed in late May.. We had a studio king room in the South overlooking the river.. The beds were really comfy, perfectly positioned tv for sitting in bed watching the large variety of free in house movies.. Really good room service, quality of hte food was good as was service, Bespoke cafe for breakfast both days was fabulous.. Electronics in the room were good and worked well, great shower space and had good heat and pressure. Valet parking is could have better sign posting but that's minor.. Loved it.
