Pontos positivos: Hotel bom o atendimento e de qualidade os bangalôs de frente pro mar, comida fresca preparada cada dia. Pontos negativos: Um pouco afastado do centro os bangalôs não possuíam ventilador mas possuem ar-condicionado e a noite faz bastante calor.

This hotel is a little abandoned by the manager. It's old ! The pool is poorly maintained with animals coming up from the beach. They are fireflies, my wife has had over 50 bites on her legs. There are total power outages. It's far from everything so we hired a car to go on excursions. It’s still pretty and the owner is quite nice with his young wife. Also, we will put 4 points out of 5.

Our stay at Anjiamarango was extraordinary due to the warm and great hospitality we experienced from the owner Philippe. We had a problem with our flight and he helped us fixing it spending hours on daily basis on it. We never experienced such kindness from a hotelier before anywhere on earth. Without his help we would have been stuck on the island. Besides that, the bungalows give you the chance to experience a traditional Malagasy way of living in the pure nature including some visitors like frogs and lizards. We were there at the beginning of the rain season and were able to experience heavy rainfalls during the night, those sounds were remarkable! The restaurant offers highly qualitative and tasty dishes and the chef is trying to personalize the service wherever possible by collecting your lunch or dinner wishes beforehand so that you don't have to wait too long for your meal. The price performance ratio is also fantastic. The pool gives you a gorgeous view on the ocean and beach, which invites you for long walks. Phillipe is offering lots of activities such as canoeing, mountain biking (free of charge) and excursions to e.g. Nosy Irania, National Park or whale watching which are highly recommendable. The staff was very attentive and friendly with a high service level coming close to a real 5 star hotel service. The location of the resort and reaching it is so adventurous and impressive as well. Twice a week there is live entertainment with local bands and singers which allows you to take a dive into the local culture. All in all, we can truely recommend Philippe's lovely resort and we will come back one day bringing friends and family as well to this little paradise. If you'd like to get the hell out of Hellville

It took us a few visits to Nosy Be to find this place, recommended by an American friend from Tana who said it felt the most free for families - to swim, wander the beach, kayak in the mangroves... with no other hotels nearby. The owner Philippe's family is here too. I just sent my adult daughter on a first trip to Madagascar, knowing she'd be safe and well cared for. If you want the edgy bar vibe of places close to Hell-ville, you may find this too peaceful and remote. Yet only 30 minutes from the airport, on a scenic road. But the food is excellent - succulent crab salad, fish soup, lobster in season, fresh fish catch of the day. Fresh coconut and fruits. Generous breakfast buffet. If you want an early coffee, ask for a hot water flask at supper. If you want Malagasy greens or special dishes, just ask. The more remote location means the beach is clean and secure.

Beautiful and clear sea. Clean and big bungallows, that are taken care of daily. Pleasant and hospital staff, the same goes for the owner Philip. Delicious food. Recommended for all, families with children included.
