The place looked and felt like a meth lab

The worst accommodation I have ever stayed at anywhere in the world! For $900 a night for a 1bdrm apartment one would expect a decent place to sleep? There was: - hair in the bed - No blankets - Couldn’t use the aircon bc it had never been cleaned (uncontrollable sneezing when in use) - Had to open windows but noisy from the restaurant and cars outside - couldn't use the shower bc the tap falls off - Dirty lifting carpet and Benchtops - No reading lamps - Ugly bright white lights - Cheap broken furniture falling off the wall - Filthy walls - Cheap appliances - Too soft beds and too hard pillows In hindsight I should have called the desk to complain on the night but I was in total shock at how a resort could lawfully rent out an apartment in that condition and I didn't want to unsettle my children further. The Gold Coast was booked out that weekend so had we left we would have had no place to stay. You could offer me $900 and I still wouldn’t stay there.

Infested! Zero care factor

Tired premises and room had bedbugs- crawling in bed and pillows !! Had to decontaminate everything and got out of there fast as I could, Lucky to find emergency accommodation elsewhere on a weekend. Terrified my bags were contaminated and some hitched a ride home. Obvious that this is an ongoing problem not adequately addressed. Zero care factor from desk staff. Never got an apology or anyone contact me for follow up, or damage control, offer a refund, not a peep. Had to chase up refund- thankfully Booking.com was very helpful and made sure this happened but took a couple of weeks. I think I got PTSD and now I think this might happen at any other holiday stay and imagine every speck is a bug! Should be shut down until the body corporate get pest control to treat the whole complex as they spread quick like ants. Its so old it should be gutted out and refurbished. Wish I could give negative stars

Had a one night stay and couldn’t wait to get out. The room had dusty cornices, filthy curtains, rusted patches on the bath/shower, wonky toilet seat, patches and scratches on walls, broken privacy door. Noise between walls travels easily.

Where do I start? I walk into the lift and all I can smell are mothballs and pee. I walk into my room and I notice the room has a damp and musty smell. Carpet is semi-clean, just a rough vacuum - not too over the top. Marks all over the walls and doors, very outdated and needs to be renovated. Bathroom door doesn’t close properly - issue with the door handle, bed room light has blown and hasn’t been replaced but at least the air con works. Bathroom is mouldy and paint is peeling near the shower tiles. Sliding door to balcony has not been cleaned in some time, covered in hand marks and God knows what else. Ring marks from drinks left on bedside tables - looks horrible. Only a sheet used for a bed cover - had to pull out musty, dirty and HAIRY blankets out of the cupboard as one thin sheet does not make a bed cover. Couch has mysterious stains on it. Did not sit on it. Pillows are average, very thin and flimsy - pillows are $10 for a two pack at Kmart. Other than that, great location. Would not recommend staying here. A waste of money. If I could give no stars I would. Very disappointed.

Stayed here for one night with my parents when up to visit a sick family member nearby. It was impossible to find a park in the hotel carpark, definitely not enough spaces for the size of the hotel. After check in, you get a little swipe key and are only able to enter via the backdoor entrance, never past front desk which felt really weird. The desk was unattended super early too. I called at 7pm to ask about an airport transfer, the desk was closed so it went to afterhours, and the guy (Ben) had no clue. Unfortunately my flight was for 9am, so I needed to be at the airport before the desk opened up again with someone who might know. The location is probably the only good thing about this hotel. The mattress was saggy (we were in a family room which had a queen and two twins). Couches were old fashioned an uncomfortable, really the whole place was dated. There was a literal hole in the wall, that had be taped up with masking tape that was falling off. Grout in the bathroom was gross and the supplied soaps etc felt very cheap and nasty. Would not return unless there were no other options.
