Check in and checkout was very efficient and quick. The room and bathroom were clean. Asked for a quiet room, away from elevator and vending/ice machines, and was accomodated. Bathroom lighting Very poor.
Staff was very nice. I had a couple issues but they were taking care of very promptly and professionally. If the average person would take notice of the time that they serve breakfast you would see that it says Baymont, not Burger King. Food was great. If you had a timing issue be fair in your thoughts and compliments. That falls on you. Also, do you really expect to walk in early on an establishment that has certain hours posted? Trying to walk in after those hours? They have lives also. Their sole purpose is not to serve you but between the hours of which they are open and when they close. It is not only an establishment to dwell for the night, but they also have hours of when they serve meals. Think about that if you ran your own business. Do you want people banging on your door an hour early before you open? Walking in 2 minutes before you close? Think about it, be receptive to what goes on, show your intelligence if you have any. Life does not revolve around you. If you did on the business think about how your employees feel when they have to stay that extra time that they can't be with their families cuz you're such a jackwagon.
No Maintenance Staff On Site
This hotel does not have a maintenance staff on site. The faucet in my sink sprayed water all over the counter whenever I used it (it needs a new aerator, an inexpensive part), but there is no maintenance staff to repair any problems. THERE WAS NO COFFEE with the "Free Breakfast" because the coffee machine was broken during the entire week of my stay. Again, they have no maintenance staff to repair problems.
Stay at Baymont
I left my headphones in my room after checkout. Discovered my missing headphones at the airport. Front desk would never answer the phone. Called 9 times between 6:00-8:30 AM. Ended up waiting a couple of days and calling back. Front desk said they would give me a call if house keeping finds them. Never got a call. Called front desk again and specifically left my name, room number, description of the headphones, and phone number. Still haven't heard from the front desk. Bathroom light would shut off after a minute or two; 120V socket on lamp would come out of the lamp exposing wires.
No HOT water & Out of arrive Elevator
The only 1 elevator they had was out of service. I stayed 5 days there and out of those 5 days 4 days they had NO hot water. I asked for a refund and they denied my request. When asked about the hot water they said wait 15 minutes. Who has 15 minutes to wait to be able to shower? I travel for work and have stayed at many hotels and this 15 minute wait excuse was by far the worst I’ve heard.
