Worst hotel ever!!!!!

From the moment we booked this hotel we had issues. I booked on Choice.com and selected to pay at arrival. The hotel tried to charge our card that morning and because our debit card was locked it canceled our reservation. We called and Brittney said she would do her best to keep our hotel room for us. 5 hours later we arrive and secured our room with a Visa card for the amount of $482.55. We get to the room and the bathroom does not work, we go to the desk and Sabrina gives us a plunger to fix the toilet as maintenance is not in. After we are unable to fix they finally move us to another room. In the meantime, our bank is notifying us that the hotel is still charging our card. In total there was over 3,000 in charges pending. The manager said he would cancel all the transactions as he couldn’t figure out what was going on. This did not change the fact that there was still all this money “pending “ and we have no access to it. The manager Callie then comes to our room at 10 o’clock pm on June 17 and tells us if we don’t pay for our room they will ask us to leave. At this point I’m beyond pissed, but my husband goes down stairs and once again makes a payment of $200 in cash and another $293.55 on our card. They general manager Caleb then comes out and tells us because we yelled at his staff he’s asking us to vacate the property. So now we’re 5 hours from home, we have our children with us, and they have thousands of dollars tied up in their system. They manager comes upstairs and holds our door open and tells us she is staying there until we leave. So has my kids are screaming and crying because they think their mom and dad are going to jail we pack up our room to leave. Once downstairs I told them I refused to leave until they refund my card. The general manager Caleb then tells me that if I don’t get out of his hotel he will physically remove me. At that point we left, I didn’t want my husband and this man getting into a physical altercation when none of this was our fault. We were made to feel like we were broke and could not afford to be there, when due to their negligence or back account was drained with pending charges. This was the absolute worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

I am a choice member and used points to stay here. One of nicest choice hotels I've stayed at lately. King suite is large and comfortable. Rooms are clean and updated. Down sides. Not enough towels. Breakfast is still bagged, not many choices and not so good. No juice. Would stay again if ever back in the area.

Extremely rude manager

The male manager at this location is extremely rude. We stay at hotels probably 5-10 days out of the month for our business and I have never met such a rude manager who literally interrupts you mid sentence then shouts over you. We stayed for 3 days in two different rooms and experienced issues with neighboring rooms smoking weed to the point of it smelling in our room, Internet connectivity, a toilet that wouldn’t flush as soon as we got in the room. (I normally would not leave a negative review for those things if the manager wasn’t so rude. We wanted to upgrade to a suite when my children were coming, when I went down to let them know the manager rudely talked over me and he put me in another room that was not even the type of room that I wanted. (I wanted and was willing to pay for a suite but got a regular two bed room at no charge because after coming out of his office and saying “I knew it was her” to the desk lady he obviously assumed I wanted to move because of the smoke issue but that wasn’t the case) All because he has a serious problem with LISTENING. At that point in our stay I was so over him and his rudeness that I decided just not to even say anything. Also my young children were shouted at for not having a mask on when entering instead of gently being told they needed one on (they were being dropped off by a sitter) you can expect one crappy frozen breakfast sandwich and I was told I couldn’t get one for my husband who was exhausted from working the previous day. He had to come down and get his own. Give me a freaking break! Workout room is closed and so is the hot tub. I could go on and on. Bottom line is this manager needs better training or some meds because he is in the hospitality industry but is NOT hospitable at all! I feel sorry for the employees that work there! Yes the hotel is clean and new, but so is the best western next-door!

Newer hotel with updated bright layout and decor. Clean overall and well maintained. Room wasn't worn at this time. Housekeeping not selected during stay. Extra stuff given by front desk when asked. No issue. Ac is controllable by you and was COLD. Big selling point for me. Never got warm at night like most hotel rooms. The covid grab and go bagged breakfast was worthless and not worth the time and effort. Basically fruit(if they have it) and bottled water. Coffee not especially hot either in machine. Otherwise stay was okay. Staff not very friendly..very few interactions with staff when going in and out over 4 days.

One of the best hotels in the area right now. Very clean and spacious, the check in/out was fast and smooth. The service is amazing. Definitely is going to be our place to stay every time we go to the city.
