Clean and Comfortable!
Avaliou em 21 de Dezembro de 2020
I was on a long road trip from California to Illinois. My second days drive was from Flagstaff, Arizona to Oklahoma City, OK. That's quite a distance, and because I was traveling in winter, (December), it was dark when I arrived. It was great to see a well lighted hotel as I drove up.
I actually picked this location as I was heading North, the next day, and didn't want to be bogged down in traffic near the city. So for my needs, the location of this hotel was good. I arrived late, 10:30 PM, but was greeted by a friendly attendant, who checked me in and provided the needed key card, room no., etc. I took an elevator to my second floor room. This was helpful, because I had a heaver suit case, computer, and camera.
The bed was firm yet comfortable, which is exactly what I find necessary to get a good nights sleep, and I slept soundly. There are convenient plugs, to charge all my devices, the room was a decent size and well lighted. The bathroom was large and had good water pressure ... and above all, very clean. This is important with the Covid-19 virus out there!
I thought the cost was reasonable, and check out was easy. I couldn't rate the breakfast, as I left quite early, do didn't take breakfast with me. Instead I stopped at a local drive through, for a hot breakfast.
Good hotel, I would recommend!
One final comment ... I didn't realize that Oklahoma had toll roads! My GPS took me the shortest route North, which led to the toll expressway. You will need CASH to pay the tolls. Initial charge was $5.00, I then took a wrong off ramp and had to pay $0.50 to get off the expressway and $0.50 to get back on! When I came to the end of the tollway, another $5.00 was needed! I had no cash left so was given an envelope, by the toll taker, to either mail in the toll, (in 10 days), or pay at the next off ramp. I selected the later option. The off-ramp island had a ATM available (fee required) and I got some cash. I then took the next off ramp and paid $2.75 to get off the tollway and $2.50 to get back on. Hence my toll was paid. Just saying: HAVE CASH ON HAND!
At least it was convenient

My boyfriend had to go to OKC for work so we decided to make a mini family vacation out of it.
While the location is really convenient as it is right off the interstate, just 2 minutes from his work, 5 minutes from Frontier City and just 10-15 minutes from the zoo and the science museum the hotel itself really leaves a lot to be desired.
First, I will say, the staff are very nice and helpful. However, the place smells which I can only assume is because so many truck drivers and over the road workers stay there. The hallways and stairwells always smelled like dirty, sweaty, human.
Our mini frig never worked. Which was obviously very inconvenient since they are not currently serving continental breakfast due to COVID-19.
My kids used the pool twice and each time it had clumps of hair in it and the worst thing is that my son found small bugs on his pillow. He knocked them off before I could see them but I'm pretty sure I saw one the next morning and it looked like a tiny bed bug. He and I both ended up with bites on our arms (we are the only ones that slept in that bed).
Like I said, it has some really convenient and good things about it but unfortunately the bad things really outweigh them.
Very clean, safe-Stay here

Staff is very friendly and courteous, they are clearly there to help you and make sure your stay is as close to perfect as possible. Peter helped me repair my trailer in the parking lot, with HIS TOOLS. Very economical way to spend a night, would recommend highly.
Nice Covid Stay

Thankfully this hotel was open during the pandemic. The staff was taking appropriate health steps and said all rooms were sanitized. The room was very nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. So many times we have stayed at Sleep Inns and enjoyed their breakfast offerings but due to the Corona virus they only had coffee and juice. We were aware of this and like other places it was not a shock to hear. The 16 year building showed a few minor signs of its age but did not deter from still being a comfortable stay. It is a few miles north of the Oklahoma City area so it was pretty quiet. Interstate access was excellent. Would stay there again.
Newly remodeled and comfortable

This Sleep inn had a very large breakfast area with hot food, such as scrambled eggs, a waffle machine, and oatmeal, to name a few. They also have a very nice Mexican Restaurant right next door. The room was recently remodeled, with a shower massage. Hilda and Alysa were very helpful and friendly at the front desk. Highly recommended!
