We are the heck of a time trying to find this place, and it's on a dark side street that backs up to the back of my shopping center. There is inadequate parking. The parking lot is crumbling, and I wasn't sure my car wasn't going to get broken into. I went inside the lobby to find two people behind the desk talking with one another and not so much as a hello or nod to me. I didn't feel safe there, so we left. End of story, never to return. I must question IHG and why they allow such a great brand as Staybridge to be affiliated with such a rundown property.

Where to begin? Winner of the cheapest, most uncomfortable bed. No housekeeping-though it was noted as light housekeeping daily, no one showed up. Front desk said we could come and pick up clean towels-ONE was available. Front desk suggested going to the pool to pick up fresh towels-locked. Breakfast was decent and coffee was plentiful-to keep us awake after poor sleep. Won’t be back.

We checked in after a long day’s drive and were checked in by a borderline rude individual. The elevator was broken during our stay which made hauling suitcases up to the room quite tedious. Also, the pool was not working which was not mentioned in the website during booking. Lastly, the manager must be a very busy as he does not have time to return calls. The only bright spot was the helpful gentleman who kept the breakfast area well-stocked.

Mysterious substance in my bed

My daughter and I arrived late at night, probably around 10pm or so after a long day. We were so tired. I couldn't find bedding foe the pull out sofa after we got into our room. I tried calling the front desk but the line was busy. I tried off and on for 15 minutes, gave up, and went down to the front desk ans asked foe the bedding. My daughter said the sofa bed was very uncomfortable. She could feel ever spring in the mattress. We took showers and went to bed immediately. We were exhausted. I got up in the morning, used the restroom and was headed back to bed when I was horrified to see what was in my bed! I was thinking the worst at first sight. I hate to say it but I got closer so I could smell whatever it was. It was wasn't what I thought it was, thank goodness, but it smelled like chocolate that had been smeared in streaks on thr sheets! I didn't eat in bed,we didn't eat at all in our room, didn't have anything chocolate before we got to the hotel, and we took showers before we got I to bed! I don't know where it came from, but I slept all night with it! Ick. I was so exhausted that I didn't even think to look things over beforehand. I won't do that again. There was also another spot on the bedding that didn't look like chocolate, it looked like dried blood. There was what I thought was hair in the sink but turned out to be a crack in the sink. I've never stayed at a Staybridge where I had any issues like this before. They e always been ver nice and clean. Breakfast was OK but every cheese omelet had a burnt edge.

The location is good. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Would I stay here again? I wouldn't rule it out. The hotel was a little out of my way, but I wanted to use my free night and I needed a full-size refrigerator at the same time. This was the option that fit the bill in Omaha. My biggest drawback is that the hotel sits on small, odd-shaped lot. As a result, the hotel corridors are not straight and having to turn multiple times with the luggage cart. Also, all the parking is on two sides of the hotel. My room was right next to the elevator, which happened to not be working when I checked in, but was working later that night. I was surpised at how quiet it was, considering the high level of occupancy in the hotel and traffic on the road.
