Paid but didn’t stay
We got there early and our room wasn’t ready so we used the lobby restroom. The lobby smelled and looked dirty, bathroom was dirty the hallway smelled so we cancelled our reservation. We were charged $70. The parking lot was run down and needs some work. Don’t book online go in person and check things out!!! Expensive lesson!
Great stay
*Laminate/hardwood flooring in rooms not carpet. * 5 minutes from Lake/boating, and swimming. * Less than 5 minutes from hospital. Great location( but you will have to drive about 10 minutes to get to main strip of stores and restaurants *Would stay again
Adequate
Pros: comfortable bed, plenty of space, decent climate control, comfy recliner, pretty clean room, good wifi, good location, good price Cons: lobby and hallways haven't been vacuumed in months, trashy parking lot, sink almost completely clogged, lots of pot smoke in the hallways I'd probably stay here again, given that it was probably the best option for the price.
If you really need to save a few dollars, give it a go...
First I should say, staff are friendly here. To their detriment, they have either not been trained properly or are working on such a skeleton crew that they've lost drive. Place is not very clean. Anything and everything that can show finger and handprints, does. Windows and stainless steel, for example. There is a lot of attention to detail being missed. I notice management tries to save face in the comment section, but management needs to be more proactive instead of anticipating complaints. There were hundreds, maybe thousands of ants crawling around one side of the pool. Really. Told staff and they didn't seem too concerned. As a maintenance worker myself I know ants can be hard to control. Pool area is not terribly inviting or properly maintained. No lids that fit for the coffee cups in the room. Seems small, but its that attention to detail that satisfies patrons.
Meh.
Looking for a decent room that was a cheaper price and we found it! Basic hotel, not much to write home about. The room was clean and the air worked. The floors are a linoleum which I get since they allow pets but I had to wear shoes in the room because it just looked kinda gross. My biggest peeve was they were pretty much empty and they gave us the room next to the elevator. For the most part it was quiet but not when people wandered by and slammed doors. I know this is not the hotels fault but crappy guests with no concern for tired travelers.
