Quick overnight trip
The hotel is is very smart and the staff could not be more welcoming and helpful. We had booked a car park space and valet parking made it very easy. Situated a short walk away from some excellent restaurants and bars this really was a good choice. The bedroom was spacious and the bed comfy. I also had with a safe, fridge plus ample room for clothes etc. I would recommend this hotel with no reservations.
I booked this hotel for my wife's birthday via Amoma. On arrival at the hotel we were told that our booking had been cancelled by Hotelbeds as Amoma had gone bankrupt even though we had paid 2 months previously. The receptionist told us that we could have a room and that the hotel would try and reclaim the money from Hotelbeds. The room was the same executive one that I had booked. On booking out we were accosted by a different receptionist who insisted that we paid the full going rate which meant that we paid about 80 euros more than the original cost when we thought that we were covered by the original voucher/payment. I have been going to Ostend off and on for 50 years. Needless to say I won't be going back. Hotels shouldn't take advantage of clients misfortunes the way this hotel did. Customer service very poor. Stay away.
One night stay but would go again
Stayed here for one night with work earlier this month. The staff on reception were excellent and very friendly. The room was large and clean. The hotel is only a short walk from the seafront. I have read reviews about the lack of parking, however I was able to park in a pay and display car park less than two minutes walk from the hotel. There was lots of space. Because I was in Ostend for work, I didn't see much of the city, so can't comment on how nice it is, but based solely on my experience of the hotel, I will certainly be back.
It all started that they had no parking available and we had to drive around 40 min till one public parking was available. Tv room was clean but old and it smelled funny. The pool was so cold I didn’t go in and decided to visit the sauna instead but it was 16.15 o’clock and it only opens at 1700. So I told myself to rest a bit and watch tv but the TV didn’t show any channels and after calling the reception, I didn’t get any help. She just said there must be some around the number 60 or so. What wasn’t the case. The promenade was packed with so many people and the city itself isn’t very nice. That’s not anybody’s fault, just saying I expected something nicer from the pictures on the internet. I just hope now breakfast will be ok... definitely a disappointment for that price

We were in January, and i can tell that the location is really awesome. In Summer must be a bestseller : )Close to everything. Very decent rooms and facilities, I had to work and the WiFi was very decent, no issues. Next to the hotel very nice Mexican restaurant - for sure a gem.
